As a Jets fan I'll take Cam and his "worst statistical" passing efforts any day. There are only a handful of NFL teams that wouldn't.
You can't use traditional stats to define Cam's impact. He IS the Panthers offense. Currently doing more with less than any QB in the game.

i can pull advanced stats that show newton had the greatest impact on a team as a rookie qb..................of all time.
pretty much. cam basically allows the panthers to approach free agency/draft the way the patriots do with brady. prioritize other needs first, because they're good enough to make the offense work. cam does it in a completely different manner. but he makes it all work, and they'd be lost without him.
ppl also seem to forget he's doing all this without his best wr.

Oh so this what were gonna do: ignore statistics that say he's one of the worst passing QBs in the league and just judge him solely off his "impact". I can't front you Cam defenders are crafty with the excuse making but CAR isn't winning anything with mediocre QB play come playoff time. Just look at how bad Scam was in the playoffs last yr, they won't win a game with him passing the ball the way he is this yr...statistically he's regressed
