They will be at Comic Con this week.I think the idea was to get the game out there so people can play it.The reactions have been positive from people that have played it.Showcasing it before Marvel finals was horrible idea tho

Of all the times to show the reveal, before the highly anticipated Marvel finals is the worst possible time to do it.
Had they did the reveal at one of the aforementioned events (maybe even a double reveal), they could've possibly skipped that reaction
I watched the reveal its a nice game. We are dealing with the hardest of the haedcore gamers here and most of them are Sony stans. So it was expected. Regardless KI is looking like a killer game.

Here is the kicker KI will most likely be in Evo next year.
If DH can fix shyt in time and things smoothed out, I'd be all for it.
However, if the community complains to Wiz enough or the pros aren't fukking with it, he may either throw it in the bushes or relegate it to one of the less watched stream at an obscure hour
PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale didn't make EVO this year so I doubt KI will make it to EVO either. As mentioned in the Reddit quote, the FGC isn't that big on exclusives on either side cause it fragments the community.
Also Kratos and his stage are banned in Evo MK9 for that exact reason. Due to him being a PS exclusive, there were gonna be some players who wouldn't know the Kratos matchup, potentially leaving an unfair advantage, so they banned him and his stage altogether
besides M$ being dikks an buying up a half-hour of Evo, they had no other In besides the money. As stated before, the games that a played at Evo are there because the resonate with the gamers and have great communities.
As for KI, i was watching the Glacius reveal, cuz i though the game looked great...and the dev that was demoing it said "Yeah, we have no problem with Glacius having an unblockable projectile".
i turned the shyt off instantly. I already see this shyt being and unbalanced mess. The moment you start embracing unblockables and infinities as something you did on PURPOSE. I can't ride with it...let the nerds discover that, don't make it a cornerstone of a fighter.

That new DOA game didn't even make it to EVO and that's not even a year old, and has more of a following than KI. People calling it now saying it will be a game in EVO a year from now don't know what the fukk they're talking about. It's dependent on how well it fairs in the Road to EVO tourney's that lead up to EVO.

I'm seeing a lot of ignorance in this thread on how the FGC and its tourneys work.
It's expected when the only people who are hyping this are Xbots who are casual fighting game fans to begin with.
When the fighting game enthusiats and veterans start showing excitement for this then it'll be worth the hype. It's too early to tell how the game will be received by real fighting game heads or if it'll be in EVO next year. Still can't believe somebody said that.

they explained in this video but I definitely see your point unblockable moves.You can jump or dash or just use shadow moves to avoid it.Still don't like the idea of unblockable special moves tho

"Fighting game enthusiasts" are really the only ones who have had hands on time with the game. And I have not seen any negative impressions yet. All impressions have been very positive and a lot of the hype for this game comes directly from the fighting game community.
They're also the ones who were shytting on it on stream and at EVO.
