Yes the fighting game pros are important but I think like most hardcore gamers I they their importance are overrated to the overall gaming community.

If the pros don't pick up the game, then the rest of the FGC will be less inclined to pick up the game

The FGC and the pros are critical to the success of ANY fighting game.

The pros/tourneys/streams bring in casuals who pour money into the game/its DLC/fightpads/Arcade Sticks cause they wanna be able to do stuff like full parrys in SF and all the flashy shyt that goes on in Marvel

games like Darkstalkers/skullgirls/King of Fighters wouldn't have gotten the chances they deserved if not for the FGC and the pros

Fighting games are different than "every" game moron. There's a decent fighting game community in Chicago, so when I look at a fighting game I'm only going to consider the ones that I can see myself participating in some tournaments in.

You keep saying that I just have to have something negative to say about the game because it's a One exclusive when I'm not even saying shyt negative about the game really. Even if this dropped on PS4 I wouldn't be that interested in it, because I know I wouldn't really feel like putting in the effort to getting good at it.

I actually stopped playing fighting games for months because they take too much of my time trying to learn the ins and outs of them.

Ok I'll keep this in mind. You only play games that you'd play in a tournament.

making it F2P pretty much says that there are fighters that will NEVER get used. A damn Gen just won EVO, and Akuma the year before...nither one are as heavily used as Blanka, Ryu, Geif and others...making the shyt F2P negates having a damn roster to begin with...whats the point of 20 fighters if you are only going to see 3 or so....

if you thought Geif and flowchart Kens were bad in vanilla SFIV wait till this shyt

People who are interested in the game will buy the full game anyway. The Jago demo is to capture those people who are on the fence and want to try the game out first. A fighter releasing at launch needs as many people to at least try it out as possible.

I wish there was something like this for BlazBlue. Wasted my fukkin money. I will not buy another game from Arc Systems without playing it at a friends house first.

Nobody gives a shyt what you say about your Chitown fighting community, does that make your opinion more valid than the next mans? I'm not going off of "its exclusive". I'm going off of every reveiw anywhere of people who actually played the game. Including the fighting community that shyts on Chicago. They all love it, they say its the next big thing in fighting games.
