I'm going to go back and forth with you because I'm bored right now and because you're constantly putting words in my posts that I never typed.
Let's see where you're basing your dumbass claims from...
You're saying that I'm saying that only fighting enthusiasts should be hype for the game? Where are you getting that from?
In simpler terms, I'm saying that unless you're going to take the time out to try and be good in the game (I won't say master it cause I'm sure you'll suck in this joint, just like Courtdog) then shut the fukk up hyping it. You'll play the game for a few months if that, get your ass handed to you, and then you won't pick the shyt up again. But since it's an Xbox One exclusive you'll keep bringing the shyt up when you have NO intention of being competitive in the game.
I think it's clear that I'm talking about fighting games and my personal thoughts on playing them... But even with all that said, you somehow come to this conclusion...
So either you're trolling me, or you're just stupid.
Post after post, I'm talking about fighting games. But you're going to spin some shyt and say "games" like I was specifically talking about 1 genre... I even say yes, I'm only going to put the time and effort in learning a fighting game if I intend to play in local tournaments for it. What's wrong with me saying that?
Let me spell it out again for you... FROM my perspective, opinion whatever you want to call it.
I (as in myself, username = GoldenGlove) don't buy fighting games unless I'm trying to get really good at the game. I don't buy all fighting games that release because I know I'm not going to have enough time to be competitive in them all. I pick out what I like and stick to it for the most part. In my honest opinion, if you don't put in a lot of hours into a fighting game to learn how the game plays/character specifics etc then it's a waste of money.
I highly doubt anybody in here, (outside of Tic Tac) is going to take the time to learn this game in and out.

It's expected when the only people who are hyping this are Xbots who are casual fighting game fans to begin with.
When the fighting game enthusiats and veterans start showing excitement for this then it'll be worth the hype. It's too early to tell how the game will be received by real fighting game heads or if it'll be in EVO next year. Still can't believe somebody said that.
I responded to this by showing you a video of hardcore gamers cheering the game on and explaining to you that hardcore fighting fans have given nothing but positive reviews on the game.
You couldn't dispute that, so in order to preserve your negativity about the game/system you came up with the "you shouldn't hype it up unless you plan to master it" angle. Which is nonsense because plenty of gamers buy/hype up games that they don't plan on becoming profesionals at. So I asked you why this standard only applies to fighting games. You have yet to answer that question.
The whole thing reaks of fanboyism on your part. Plenty of games get hyped up around here by people who aren't and don't plan to become professionals at them but I don't see GoodenGlove running in those threads calling people out for it. Why?

He been acting like he is the authority on fighters when I never knew of him to even play them. There is no need in arguing with them, let them all together say how terrible this game looks/plays/etc. We know the truth
They will act this way for every xbox game that looks promising. shyt, even the Cloud is garbage to them, Kinect is garbage, dedicated servers isn't a big deal, the list goes on and on. You're hyping this mainly because it's an Xbox One Exclusive. I haven't shytted on the GAME once in this entire thread. I'm shytting on stans like YOU who are bigging up a genre/game they're casual in. Get it now?

For the most part console preference depends on the game. Street Fighter/Marvel player prefer Xbox(Ps3 has input lag on both games)
Mortal Kombat/Injustice prefer ps3
EVO is ps3 only because Capcom support and sponsors the tournament. Capcom is a Japanese company so they're only fukking with Japanese shyt (Sony)
360 doesn't get much live in Japan and Japanese fighting game players only use Ps3

I've purchased most fighting games this gen. In no way am I profesional nor have I participated in any tournaments. But I can be excited to play this game just as much as any other game. I'm casual in ALL genres. I have a life. Most gamers are casual in most genres. Your idea that someone needs to be a professional in order to want to play a game is asinine.
And my original point still stands. Most of the hype about this game IS coming from the hardcore community.
