I think both sides of the discussion have legit points. Question for both sides
1) Those who feel Jordan's advancement of blackfolks in his company helps the plight of the black community too, how do you know whether those black folks getting advancements are not koons and self-serving black folks who finna not continue trying to promote more black execs?
2)Those who feel Jordan should invest in black businesses and banks, what accountability will these black companies be held to so that the black community will benefit from their investments? I made a thread about this question and some couldn't answer the question, instead they were agent-like with snitching to the mods and deflection attempts OR one clown gave such a generic response that it was clear he was just regurgitating shyt he heard others have said, without reasoning its practicality

1) Jordan doesn't have to do shyt for anyone but himself. If he sees that he wants to position black americans in position of power and help them naviagate up the corporate ladder, its wholly good for black americans to have one additional avenue of advancement.
Its not Jordan's responsibility to uplift the black race, and this talk of black community, there are different communities of black americans in this country and there always have been. So I think you really have to get out of this mindset of looking at all of us as one monolithic block, on top of that , you need to drop the mindset that black americans are lowly and in need of a handout by anyone to advance.
As I said earlier in this thread, the reason blacks have been economically behind is by the policies of the US government and if you aren't talking about removing those US government policies, your energies are being misdirected, because Jordan and other black businessmen don't have the ability to do anythign about that or to overcome it.
2) As for the second, Jordan and other black business and banks only owe it to their shareholders to be successful. If they do that, there very success financially will be a testament to benefitting society because they have a customer base that likes their product and is willing to pay for it over alternatives.
