Here is the problem that i have when you compare a country like Britain or Australia and the US. Many European countries dwarf in size to the U.S. Many are the size of some us states and extremely lower murder and crime rates (even before the bans), lower poverty levels, better mental and health care systems, and Substantially better educational systems. The U.S. in some areas is a border line 3rd world country. You will rarely see destitute areas like Detroit or Baltimore in those countries. Cities with the most gun control have the highest murder and crime rates.

If they were to do a gun ban like that and avoid a civil war with all the rednecks for the U.S. you would see a mix between a country like Australia and a country like Brazil which also heavily regulates guns. People are sitting ducks in Brazil to criminals there. They are the world's example for muggings and gun robberies look on YouTube for active self protection. Nothing but robbings in brazil smh. all the criminals have guns and they have 64000 murders per year with all those damn gun laws.

And guess what Brazil is begging for thier guns back.

You cant ban/regulate guns in a country like here with as much crime, racism, and drug trafficking it's a recipe for disaster.

Nobody brings up how other types of crime skyrocketed in Australia because criminals knew that citizens had little way to defend themselves.

The problem with trying to use other countries as an example for gun control, is that it's blatantly ignores their societal ills and history of liberation re: guns....and more importantly, it wrongly paints blacks/poor people for the reason that gun violence is what it is.


Buy Back programs in the US have failed specifically, because they do not solve any particular problem...nor are legal gun owners fairly compensated for their guns....and more importantly, it's NEVER solved people using illegal means to obtain guns for illegal purposes.

I swear to God Black gun owners do not know how to articulate why black people should own guns. First off the NRA is full of racist whites. Austrailia did not BAN guns, they banned assualt style rifles...which is the topic. So wtf are you talking about? Whatever correlation you think exists is not because of that. Its like people would rather the murder rate remain high. They have the same ability to personally protect themselves as they did at any other time. The US has banned assault style weapons BEFORE and it had the same effect. You guys act like there aren't examples everywhere, this is why I know either y'all are fools or not trying.
