Could’ve had a Halliburton/Cade backcourt. :francis:

Halliburton was right there

change anything about the past and you dont get cade.

Anyway, Killians biggest knock is hes too passive in the lane/paint but his 3 ball was hitting (38%)before his hand injury. He has a clear mental road block about getting packed in the paint he needs to get out of. Maybe he never will.

Hes an elite level passer and playmaker.
Some of the passes dude makes :whoo:

only for his teammates to brick shots :beli:

hes a plus defender and turned 20 during summer league. When comparing killian and tyrese, killian was always the project and ty was always the high floor player.

i dont love the kill and cade fit and Id like to see kill come off the bench atleast once but hes been the starter his entire time here and i guarantee if he goes to another team he’ll look better just off the elite playmaking alone.

so you get Mobley instead? :leon:

sorry had to

Mobley would not look the same as the pistons 5 as he does as clevelands 4. Having Jarrett Allen “behind” him makes his world a lot easier. But i see where youre getting at and interesting to think about.

tyrese will also never be “the guy.” pistons needed cade and i regret nothing.

You know your team Breh but are you sure he’s elite in any of those facets?

True on the Cade point. But regarding Killian, I think regardless of the things he does ok, he's such a net negative in the court that those things are negated. He's got good vision, but him not being a shooting threat marginalizes some of that, And he doesn't really drive hard or break down the defense to create better scoring opportunities for his teammates either. He lacks the craftiness of say a Rondo, and the bulldoggedness of somebody like Marcus Smart, guys who are both not known as scorers, but are better in both of the areas you point out as strengths for Killian, to the point they are valuable on the court.

Even if you're right and he goes to another team and looks better, what does that even mean? He can just make it to the ground floor and that's an improvement, since he's basement level right now. Dude is probably one of the worst starters in the league, if not THEE worst.
