I’m not saying he hasn’t played like trash to write him off after what 2 years is idioticI don’t care about labeling him a bust or not ..the reality of his career thus far is that he’s been utterly trash and his trash play shouldn’t be blamed on anyone but himself
I don’t care about “writing him off” or any of these cliche catchphrases …I’m talking strictly about what he has produced on the court in 116 games of NBA level basketball. Same issues creating separation with his handle …same issues converting from range that he had 5 years ago in euroballI’m not saying he hasn’t played like trash to write him off after what 2 years is idiotic
Either some of y’all are hella young or just casual fans because there’s been a lot of players who don’t show shyt the first few years
Is Detroit to blame for his putrid shooting thus far in his career?Killian might as well leave Detroit and florish somewhere else. They're already crowded with Cade, Ivey, Stewart and Duren. They can't even win will all those guys either.

I don't understand this take. Why would it be a Detroit thing when he's a total outlier on the team in terms of offensive production? His issues have been in his head. He seems to have finally got the confidence to take the shots that have always been available to him, and take them with intention. I'm just hoping this is a new mindset add he doesn't revert back to what he was at the first sign of a slump. Bad shooting nights are gonna happenIs Detroit to blame for his putrid shooting thus far in his career?
It wasn't a take. The post I was responding to was saying breh should leave and flourish elsewhere, so I posed the question whether or not that's going to matter for how his shooting splits have been thus far.I don't understand this take. To NBA fans, 3 or 4 years is a whole career. NBA fans treat you like the goat or a bust after 10 games
This is an eternity for NBA fans, you ain't know?
Gotcha. We're on the same page then. I totally missed what you were responding to. And you're right. He's had plenty of opportunity, totally opposite of much of the youth with the warriors. Most other Organizations that might be playing for something wouldn't have given him nearly the rope he's got in Detroit and he possibly would have been already out the league. It wasn't a take. With young players it can be tricky to get a read on them early. Depending on the organization and roster makeup etc... with Hayes, I assumed he's had a lot of chances to play and produce but just hasn't. His situation compared to guys on the Warriors for example aren't comparable. He's shown so far that he's not a good shooter. Is it just a confidence thing or the nikka can't shoot for shyt? I'm not an expert on Pistons basketball.
Currently going through this with Pat Williams. Literally have to defend this kid with my boys every other dayTo NBA fans, 3 or 4 years is a whole career. NBA fans treat you like the goat or a bust after 10 games
Exactly. People really just look at numbers and don't take the situations these young players are in much. That's why Killian's been getting drug heavy so far IMO. It would be different if Detroit were a playoff team with vets and he had limited minutes/opportunities to play. It really does matter. Maybe he turned a corner now, we'll have to wait and see.Gotcha. We're on the same page then. I totally missed what you were responding to. And you're right. Detroit always treated him like a step child
Plus Pistons is one of the worst franchises for international talent AND white players![]()
