Could Michael B Jordan brought more intensity to the role? Sure. But for this being the first role he's done where he played the bad guy in a huge blockbuster film, He did a good job.

He had enough arrogance, attitude and emotion to pull it off and his final speech at the end will likely go down as the most memorable moment of his career.

The only flaw in the film was that white CIA agent...I understand he was used as a bone to be thrown to white people but he was outta place as fukk:dead:

When I saw the trailer, the lip plated guy was very dope........that's authentic distinct type of African culture.....no different than the women in Thailand that wear rings around their neck. The whole point of the film was mixing traditional African cultute with high technology.

Nobody said you have to go cop you a lip plate, like you would a dashikii, but the fact they have these old traditions mixed in with modern era, like the scarring on Killmonger, etc is part of what made the movie so unique as a blockbuster.

Off topic he is a Ivory Coast actor, Isaach de Bankole, who has had roles in Casino Royale and 2013 indie film Mother of George with Danai Gurira.

Michael B Jordan has the emotional depth of cardboard. He's not a particularly interesting actor. Or person in general.

But oddly I can't really think of another black actor in his mid 30's-40's who could effectively play Killmonger. Idris Elba is too old and already plays that viking dude.

Any suggestions?

They also drop in at least one other "hero" from another Marvel movie to connect each of them.
He was still a second-tier character :yeshrug:

Not all traditions are good, I just find it embarrassing and stupid to stretch your lip like that.

It has no place in society.

Notice everybody focus on the black people but they aint saying nothing about that clown ass token whiteboy flying the aircraft, dude was not even needed in the movie. They just put the motherfukker in the flick to make white people comfortable, aint nobody bytching about that.

He was in the comics
