"IS THIS YOUR KING!!!"

imagine an actor like Wesley snipes, denzel, or Samuel Jackson delivering that line. shyt would be much more of a classic quotable.

But since it was Michael B Jordan delivering that line it ended up being kind of meh...
those nikkas are old breh. you need young blood for this role

But oddly I can't really think of another black actor in his mid 30's-40's who could effectively play Killmonger. Idris Elba is too old and already plays that viking dude.

Any suggestions?

The guy in BP and Get out would of made a better Killmonger.

I know it's controversial but even 50 cent would of done a better job :francis::sadcam:

Killmonger narcissism to a T.

I wasn't saying they should of been cast as kilmonger.

I was just comparing their acting abilities to MBJ. Granted this is a thread about MBJ being miscast so I could see why my post got misconstrued that way.

He’s a terrible actor. Everything from his facial inflections to his delivery of dialogue was just contrived and not believable. It’s like you can tell when a guy is acting instead of making the role his. Shuri was great though.

This.

And going back to my "IS THIS YOUR KING" remark, the rage in front of the crowd scene is usually a slam dunk for quotables and memorable moments. MBJ should have just did his best training day impression when denzel did the whole "KING KONG AIN'T GOT shyt ON ME!" Bit

:wow:

MBJ's gone on record multiple times talking about his difficulty in embracing the role of a villain, and I felt that in his performance

He didnt miss the sympathetic, heartwrenching beats though -- and ultimately I think that's why he was cast and one of the strengths he brought to the role along with the physicality

@YouMadd? You're really running with this narrative that I'm a liberal white boy pretending to be black because you disagree with my opinions :mjlol: You're really on some weirdo shyt. I have no beef with you, matter of fact I don't even interact with you here outside of all the times you come at me out of nowhere. I've posted my picture multiple times here and there are people here who know me outside the coli. But if that's not enough for your weirdo ass to believe that I'm black I'll send you my IG. Just don't start stalking me :whoa:
