piff game

i never understood the ads and i put in a shyt load of time into it, shyt would never work even if my aim was dead on, hip firing just felt more accurate, which is bullshyt:birdman: i should NOT be able to merk nikkas from across the map while hip firing, then develop slinky arms when i ads

kz3 corrected this but that game was whatever

^^^ that doesn't really help me form an opinion bro

more specific please

kz3 is full of cheesy one liners and whatever, more of a dumbed down experience, enemy AI is impressive tho, and aiming is easier

kz2 is more of a serious conflict, aiming is hard in this game but thats really only apparent during multi, this game takes its self very serious

kinda like the first batman movie(kz3) vs. the dark night(kz2) both good in their own right, one just happens to be the gawd fps

Killzone 2 and its not even close

Killzone 3 was so rushed that the developers didn't even put in any easter egg type objectives in the game for trophies (no Intel to collect, no emblems to shoot) . It was short, made no sense story wise and the shyt was buggy.

Killzone 2 was a damn classic. :wow:

I slaved over this joint when it dropped. I played it everyday all day. Reached 24 hours played in damn near 24 hours. High school gave me all the time in the world to do NOTHING

I still play Killzone 3 online

I had purchased that sh1t a few months after release to see how it was and the online was terrible still. There was hardly any way to get full games and I forgot the level name but I think the ISA or Helghast Spawn had a hotspot where the other team would literally just camp there and trap y'all there for the whole match.

single player I have to go with Killzone 3, if it would have had the serious tone to it like Killzone 2, it would have been epic but they mad it more superheroish in tone which I didn't care for. But the gunplay & fun factor of the game play in Killzone 3 outdid Killzone 2 in singleplayer

now when you get to online? :mjpls: there is nothing KZ3 can do with Killzone 2. Killzone 2 online gunplay & visceral feel of war is unmatched by anything this console generation. I really feel the game was ahead of its time in this regard & most simply couldn't handle that real 'war feeling'.

In Killzone 2 when you popped an opponent it really felt like you just dropped someone...and the kickback you'd get when you squeezed one off (the rumble from your controller just added to that affect.) The 23 ways a bullet could travel really made that real as well. It made you focus with your shot & be patient...once rewarded with that chirp sound. :ohlawd:

I think the thing that made that feeling of focus so rewarding was that it would be complete chaos going on around you. The graphics, dust particles, shrapnel, Bodies flying, explosions rocking your aim...but the game demanded you ignore all of that & focus your aim, lock on your target & get the objective done.

It was a truly beautiful experience...one of my most fun times from this generation. :ahh:
