Reviewers trashed Killzone: Mercenary for Vita too and that's the best game on the system. The MP is damn near flawless and I've yet to read anything bad about that from actual players. I'll take these reviews (as I do all of them) with a grain of salt, especially when people's hands-on impressions have pretty much all been positive.

I never even looked at the reviews for that game.

Nah. Polygon gets a lot of flack but a lot of their reviews score lower than those from other websites. And they've been plenty critical of Xbox over these last 6 months.

Nah, just wait til real fans review the game.

The publications were just repeating shyt that we've known about the multiplayer aspect of the game since they announced the features for it. I'd say wait for some real reviews of gamers who actually play the shyt out of multiplayer games. And if you look at the publications that metacritic is pulling from, you'll see some no name shyt on there, and really that Polygon review drags the score down a lot.

They don't even know if they'll like it. I don't like GTA Online but yet I thought it was going to be the best thing in the world going off that trailer and reviews.

that's how Sony wanted it. that's why Sessler and all those cats were complaining about these review events

to be fair, it's hard to judge multiplayer without seeing how it does when a lot of regular peeps are playing. but that's also when various netcode issues could arise...

That's why I'm not really tripping over these 7s (even though Eurogamer is known to be harsh)

That's the only review that actually said, "Well it's impossible to know how well the mulplayer will be until we see what people come up with for the Custom Warzones"

It's really fukking annoying too, because the backlash from faggit fanboys makes it so that reviewers decisions to assign scores are affected. It also makes it so that devs become really afraid to try anything new; getting panned in the metacritic shyt aint a good look.

Can we just got back to Gamepro style ratings? The score out of 5 was always good IMO, no halves either.
