Fans are honestly some of the worst people to rely on, so many of them will make the purchase and then hype the game up to validate their purchase and make them feel like they didn't waste their money.
Or they`ll stan it because it's an exclusive and they have a console agenda.
Putting faith in fans is pretty misguided
Polygon gets clowned because they are biased as fukk towards MS . Considering MS funded their website, I don't take their reviews seriously.

I'll get on this game and let you know if the multiplayer is what's up. I loved Killzone 2, but I was the first person to absolutely shyt on Killzone 3 in general. (campaign and multiplayer). I've already put in 50 hours in BF4 on PC, so I'm going to spend some time with Shadow Fall and see how it goes. If it's a dud I will report back. Because unlike many of the games that some people love making threads about on here...

what people don't get about Killzone is that it is a unique shooter. The gunplay is unmatched IMO. Yea, the stories are pretty average but nothing gives me that feeling of being in a visceral gun fight like Killzone. No other game gives that satisfying kill. I really don't know how to describe it....all I know in that game I don't feel like some cardboard cutout. and the enemies don't either. It feels like you really letting rounds loose in that game and if I'm going to play a 1st person shooter...the shooting is the most important and to this date nothing grabs me like a Killzone shootout.
