We're in the minority of people anticipating it but it has higher pre-orders than all X1 exclusives? :wtf:

nikka not only that, Killzone: Shadow Fall" pre-orders are outselling EVERY PS4 & Xbox1 game except the PS4 version of "Watch Dogs" according to the VGChartz pre-order chart from last week (http://www.vgchartz.com/preorders/41504/USA/).

Anyway some new info from a PS Blogcast with cliffnotes from a gaf listener
DS4 specific
-textured grips feel really really good (very luxury/premium)
-triggers hold fingers well (slightly bigger than DS3)
-very small dead zone (improved aiming precision)
-concave thumb sticks keep your thumbs planted

KZ:SF specific
-multiplayer warzone will allow you to configure everything from friendly fire, only certain weapons being available, what classes can be used, what maps, what abilities, etc etc etc.
-custom multiplayer warzone types which you make can be saved
-tons of weapon mods, laser sites, scoped, ammo types (incredible variety)
-everything is unlocked (weapons, classes, skills) in multiplayer from the get-go
-no xp, but using a particular weapon repeatedly will level you up and make you better with the weapon (i assume less recoil, quicker reload, etc)
-apparently the side arms (handguns) are very satisfying
-DS4 comes to life in Killzone, dpad is very useful and the triggers are perfection
-new controller makes the shooting mechanics much more accurate... for that reason they have eliminated aim-assist
-some weapons have alternate fires (charging up for more damage)
-GG have really embraced sci-fi, their is a railgun class of weapons... assault rifle & pistol
Interesting. Can't wait to get my hands on this. The thing i like about this custom warzone shyt is once we play the game for a few weeks and get a feel for what's not really balanced there is no waiting for a patch to fix it, we can just customize settings and turn certain shyt off and play with it online.

A lot of preorders will be left unfulfilled since there will be 2 to 400 thousand PS4's available in the US at launch

not pre-ordering(unless you get something non mp related) and I couldnt care less about the mp ever since they got rid of the weighted feel in 2, but this will be getting copped first day cause I dig the killzone story and games overall...

So about 60% of you say you like KZ2 better than 3, this seems to be a blend of both games.
The graphics look okay, but I expected more from "Killzone" even tho I couldn't expect results for a launch title.
So I have to go off of gameplay, and right now it looks like more of the same gameplay wise
The levels didn't look particularly FUN. If you liked Killzone, you'll like this game.

If you love Killzone 2 and you think this will be your spiritual successor? I'm sorry but that is not the case :ld:

But seriously, I think you're wrong by saying the game won't be in the same vein as Killzone 2. The MP director from KZ3 isn't in charge of this one... they're actually going back to the guy that was in charge for Killzone 2 (this is evident by spawn nades/beacons returning, spawn on your teammate is also returning, the expansion of the custom game being in there) These things were all taken away in Killzone 3, and that's why a lot of people enjoyed 2 more.

You're also downplaying the additions that they are putting in the game. The weapons are now customizable, which wasn't the case before. 1500 challenges in the multiplayer will always give the player something to strive for within matches. It works great in Battlefield 3 with those "Assignments" that they have in that game. And I have to continue to hammer this point home... the level of customization that they are giving the player with the custom games is going to be something that is huge for the community as well as the developer.

During an official PlayStation Blogcast appearance, Guerilla Games' Steven ter Heide, director on Killzone: Shadow Fall, spoke about the game's multiplayer mode, which debuted at gamescom.

When asked about the different feel of the game compared to previous Killzone games, ter Heide said that "the new controller contributes a lot to that." He adds that "it feels a lot more tighter" and the reduced deadzone and lag in the DualShock 4 helps improve the general shooting mechanics of the game.

The most interesting comment from ter Heide came when he said that when Guerilla looked "at aim assist and stuff like that, we took it all out. It's all about skill."
In other games, aim assist appears is when you aim near a target and the game subtly keeps your gun reticle trained in the enemy's general direction. It's a common feature in console FPS games.

It's great to see a game move away from artificially boosting player skill and infusing more challenge. Hopefully, Killzone: Shadow Fall will be everything Guerilla has hyped it up to be when it launches with PS4 on November 15, and November 29 in Europe.

I want them to make separate weapons for the isa and helghast.
I'm listening to the blogcast that they had and they're actually saying that we'll be able to control which factions can use which weapons with the custom games settings...
