We couldn't shoot one down flying to South Korea or even Japan, because there's not enough time to scramble jets fast enough. This is why Japan is starting to militarize again.

If one was shot towards the US it would take 30 minutes to an hour to hit. More than enough time for our radar to detect and scramble jets or fire countermeasures.

Like I said in my previous post nuclear war with Russia is scary because they would fire 1000s of missiles at us. North Korea doesn't have 1000s of warheads. Last estimate I read was 2 dozen. Which the most likely scenario is they would more probably sell to another bad regime, which they have already been caught selling weapons to Syria before...or they would only use if they get invaded to blow up ground troops or shoot at Seoul out of spite.

There's a strategy to this all. And actions are consistent with that strategy. If he had more power than he does, he would be operating differently. As conceited and or crazy as Kim is, firing 1, 2-24 nukes off would be devastating for those that hit...but it would mean an absolute immediate end to his regime...and like I said in my previous post, if they fired first, China isn't going to support them.
