It was a joke!
I like reading about North Korea, shyt's a literal dictatorship you'd see in a cartoon, it's soooo surreal; very, very longshot, but I hope their daughter grows up and starts bringing them reform in the next few decades :wow:

I can respect how NK somehow maintains their privacy, especially in this day and age. I honestly don't understand it.

They're called the hermit kingdom for a reason, given a choice, would you rather go to South or North Korea

:russ: what other option do they have. Kim's regime literally controls the media outlet over there.

Have you even seen their media? It's terrible! :dead:

If I could go as a diplomat with immunity, I would want to visit NK tbh. I would love to see what they got going on over there.

I have the next best thing :ld:

This Indonesian youtuber's wife was a diplomat to NK, he had to hide his camera sometimes, but he was generally left alone to roam around Pyongyang and surrounding areas

This Russian got a less restrictive visa into North Korea after getting law or journalism credentials :mjpls:

A non-political channel, this Japanese data analyst gained the trust of the NK govt. and has been allowed to film around Pyongyang from the 90s to now

why this nikka want missiles so bad? he will never take over the world. he should have his people looking for natural resources on their land instead
Those missiles are the only thing keeping him and his regime alive. Otherwise, the US & South Korea would delete him with the quickness.

North Korea actually has plenty of natural resources. They just don't have the knowledge or technology to extract and use most of it. North Korea is actually more resource rich than South Korea - but NK is an authoritarian hellhole, so they are stuck in the Dark Ages.

Kim Jong Un doesn't care about the people of NK, he only cares about himself (and MAYBE, also his wife and daughter). He had both his uncle and half-brother killed.

Honestly I'd like to visit it on on some zoo sht, the same way cacs go to favelas or isolated jungles to study locals.

It would suck to be born a prisoner your entire life in that place. I feel for their people, but I'm also curious how one would move up in their society, for example how'd those actors in @Drinky Crow 's video get their jobs? What about those generals that be holding their guns backwards in photo OPs with their king? I find it amusing. From the little bit we covered about their nation waaaaay back in middle school I was under the impression that most folks were just farmers or trying to get a job at the plant.

Edit:
I also just realized how substandard American education system is after typing that. The only mention in my entire compulsory education (k-12) or undergrad years of the lifestyle of North Koreans was a page and a half from my 7th grade social studies book. And half that section was spent covering the famine in the 1990s:russ::mjlol:
