why should they defend it? the company they stan has abandoned it so naturally the fanboys have too. This is like asking a Playstation stan about the Move controller or the Playstation Camera and light bar on the controller.

Kinect should have always been optional. Still I'd prefer to have it rather than not have it.

Does anyone use the Playstation Eye? Can't find a use for it except for Just Dance.

Yes they use the PS4 camera for PLAYROOM ..it has actually alot social standing on the PS4 social interactive boardcast side.. and they didn't have to lie and say it was the SECOND HOLY COMING LIKE THE KINECT 2.0 lol and then become abstract from a need to a forget about it? Kinect is fine for me. I have alot of parties at the house and My wife and daughter play dancing shyt all the time so I would have brought it anyway. The voice commands work flawlessly for me also.

I agree tho, should have been optional. I don't get how they really thought it was a game tho changer.

i dont know why kinect gets so much hate. if i was buying a xbox i would no doubt spend the extra money for kinect. the ps camera is shyt quality. and you suppose to say "playstation" then the command. this shyt NEVER fukking works. maybe 3 out of 10 times. it mght have gotten a lil better cause I havent tried it in a year but i cant see it getting that much better.

kinect might not work all the time but it def works a lot more than ps camera. and the VIDEO QUALITY on that shyt is HD AS fukk. if sony offered a better camera i would buy it. for a hd ass camera lke kinect id be willng to throw down some extra bills.

Except I dont recall anybody stanning for the move,ps eye or the light bar saying its what makes the playstation superior and will change gaming.

If you arent into things like streaming then of course its useless. But Kinect is cool for voice/gesture commands and what not. It has some use unlike the PS camera

Microsoft has dropped the price of the Kinect Bundle from $500 to $400 on their website. It's clear that they are going to dump the bundle if they ever get rid of the old stock.

I use my kinect for all the TV watching, but I have never used it in a game

I still have only used my Kinect for changing TV channels and Skype. It's probably the sickest camera ever for Skype, as it follows you around the room and autozooms and shyt.

But even though Kinect is kinda ass, I still haven't turned on my PS4 or Wii U in months so MS did something right
