The only reason someone would hate their dad is if he wasn’t there or just a straight up foul person. You have never in your life heard someone say “My dad was there and provided me a good life and he’s a good dude but idk I just hate him “

And what does his first wife have to do with his kids? Mom and dad can beef on the sidelines but you stay in your kids life. Doesn’t sound like the moms we’re keeping the kids away to me

Ok I see you ain’t dealt with many people with kids in your life. Some women turn their kids against the father. Like I said never listen to the kids when it comes to relationships and the parents. I’m sure it’s some credence to what she’s saying but it’s 2 sides to every story.

Fam this isn’t some 7 year old telling tales this is a middle aged woman telling her story. Like someone above said it looks like Richard wanted to leave his past behind and that included his previous kids.

Now it could be that he tried to reconcile in the later years and she waived him off forever. But she deserves to feel that way if he truly abandoned his first family like that

Richard is flawed and miles away from perfect.... but just as he should be commended for how he raised and championed Venus and Serena, he can also catch strays for neglecting his obligations with his previous family by abandoning them as babies and leaving them to fend for themselves.......
