I don't know why this keeps getting constantly ignored.

Also the story isn't about Mr. William's life. It's about how he created and developed the two greatest tennis players in the last 100 years. With barely any help from the racist tennis system. He basically created a better mouse trap and that's why the movie is titled king Richard. Cause basically he was the puppet master.

This would be like writing a movie on how Archie Manning created and developed two of the greatest NFL QBs in the last 50 years. The story wouldn't revolve around rumors of archie being a cheating husband or rumors of archie being a bigot. It would be on how he developed peyton and eli.

Why is this so hard for folks to understand (I know you and @Get These Nets understand this, but I am talking about others).

I agree with you and Ziggly.
The thing is I think I've seen the playbook being used before and the coach calling the play.

The slant of this article, and any that follow it are not aimed to air out Mr. Williams or Venus & Serena, but to sabotage the film at the box office and during Awards season. The subtitle of the article might as well say "don't nominate Will Smith, why did he take this role?"

When Denzel starred in the film about Hurricane Carter, controversial stories mysteriously resurfaced along the same lines , strictly to sabotage it for awards.

Not really. My dad has other kids that he acts like they don’t even exist but my dad is with me every single day, I haven’t gone a day in my life without talking to my dad. So to one set of children he’s a deadbeat but to my moms kids he’s father of the year, every year for the past 31 years.

I hate how you guys pretend that people can’t be one way for one person and another way for other people.

Not denying that. But from my observation, in most cases deadbeats are deadbeats to all their children. For example, if a woman knows that a man has other kids he doesn't care about and still has children with him, she shouldn't be surprised if he eventually acts the same with her kids.

imagine leaving a whole ass family to start a new one to fulfill your million dollar scheme. All he had to do was teach his younger kids tennis. Hell his last one was two months old.

Why would he be with one family over the other? Why would he take care of 2 kids over the other? You can’t say money cause he’s the reason they got the money. I don’t know they life but in the movie his wife seemed supportive and down for whatever he wanted to do.
