Ironic how "fatherless" is one of the more popular insults on here and how it's never meant to attack the missing father but rather the mother that was present.

:wow:

Facts.

There's a lot of random old heads who apparently just busted in any piece that gave them the time of day. I'm talking absolute trash women. When they get it together they settle down with the woman they like the best, but all these kids aren't going to let that shyt slide. Richard was an outlier, as there are old cats who get put into poverty from all the child support, get touched up by their grown kids, or who just fade off into nothingness.

I think he might have been busting in other women too, but that ain't even the case here. He chose to settle down with her, they were married 9 years and had 5 kids together, and then he ghosted without a word giving up the responsibility and saddling her with all of it and no choice in the matter. It's not like she decided to have those kids grow up with no father in the picture, she had no idea she'd be out there trying to raise a 2-month-old alone.

He had 10 years to figure out if he was going to hold to his commitment or not. What is he doing putting that 5th kid in her after 9 years and then ditching her once the kid is born?

He divorced Venus/Serena's mother too but at least waited until they had made the pros first.

Because adults can make stupid decisions. Is this a revelation?

The stupid decisions part, no..

A person not man enough to take care of their responsibility, yes.. I'd call my own son a worthless piece of shyt if he not going hard to take care of the kids he created.. Mistake or not.

I’m just the messenger. I don’t respect men who abandon their family but I can definitely understand why, even if I don’t respect their choice.

If a man doesn't like the mother, why have a baby with her?

:yeshrug:

Some men shoot off not expecting a kid to pop out.
some men shoot off expecting a kid to pop out and then end up not liking the mom and then rolling out..

shyt sucks but it is what it is

I thought the movie had a weird dynamic they never talked about the 3 other other sisters, I only knew the oldest sister because of that gangbanger scene. When he address Venus and Serena he called them by their first and last name. They kinda touched on him being a deadbeat during the kitchen scene in Florida but just kinda brushed over it. The movie was about how nobody respected him and only seen him as a dumb nikka. So he (and his wife I feel like she didn’t get enough credit for effort) put all his energy into making his daughters tennis stars. He did that and should be celebrated for it. But he also was deadbeat dad who acted like his other kids didn’t exist. Both stories can be true at the same time. You can’t blame Sabrina for being resentful towards her father after all these years of abandonment.
Typical rich black person revisionist history.

We know how they operate, should come as no surprise whatsoever :camby:

You can never listen to a child when it comes to the parents. He can’t be to bad if the woman popped out 8 from him. His first wife probably didn’t see his vision like Venus and Serena mom.

That's kind of fukked up. though. "I have a vision of breeding the greatest tennis players this world has ever seen, and these kids you've been pumping out aren't cutting it. bytch, are you down with my vision?" I mean, I know it (eventually) turned out well in this instance, but it's not historically a healthy family dynamic.

Sabrina should’ve worked on her backhand. :yeshrug:

what is it? he doesn't have a relationship with her family and she wants to be featured in the movie why?

if they have no relationship and they get depicted in the movie it would be problems, if they don't it is still a problem. just avoid problems

taking this to the public is trying to generate fake outrage. the public doesn't care about this.

I disagree. That's her father. She has ever right to speak out regarding her experience with him or lack thereof.

I regard him for what he did for Venus and Serena but he ain't shyt outside of that for leaving a whole ass family and kids behind. How some men wake up daily and go on with their day knowing there is part of them out there they have no inclination regarding their well-being is beyond me.
