in my opinion, magna carta is the best out of the trash Jay z albums. American Gangster is just meh and bp3 and kc are the worst. Jay should have stayed in retirement

Anything post Black Album (minus American Gangster) is fair game to be his worst album. This, Magna Carta and BP 3 are all meh or terrible

I actually liked the album a lot. Still on the low end of his catalog but he's one of the GOATS so there was plenty of records on that album that stuck with me. I remember being one of the few people going to bat for it and HHID when they dropped, I still listen to them a couple times a year. I def like it more than BP3.

Folks who call MCHG his worse is wilding - flow wise & lyrically he was working. Picasso Baby, FWMYKIGI, Oceans (especially Oceans), Crown (banger), Heaven & Open Letter were all tough tracks.

I would say Kingdom Come was probably his weakest album, but still Lost One, Dig A Hole & Beach Chair as tough

KC had Beach Chair, which alone was way better than any MCHG song
