In what respect? Hype is super subjective.

My only gripe would be some of the Bosses are weak, but that's most KH games until you get to the humanoid bosses

That fighting system wasn't as braindead as most KH games imo you fukk around and run through all your abilities too quick and you getting smacked, had to actually strategize to a degree and figure out how to craft moves that gave you the best transformations

Some of it was luck based and even then, a lot of it was moot when you got to the humanoid bosses that could insta-kill you before you even got a shot in.

i guess, but between KHCoM and KH2, u understand their point. I get they're nobodies and they needed to have a human form beforehand, but idk if it really needed to be explored

I like that shyt BBS had some of the wildest secret bosses, Mysterious Figure, Eraqus Armor, Vanitas Remnant, these nikkas combining the fukk outta you unless you know how to box

nikkas you can't even use cure against cuz they gonna copy that shyt then get right back on yo ass

Kh1/BBS/KH2 had the best secret bosses and Easter eggs outta the whole batch

I agree with you here, they could've just gotten rid of Xehanort in BBS and I would've been fine with KH2 being the canon ending


KH3 was just a rollercoaster of bullshyt until you hit the crazy boss rush at the end leading up to Scala ad Caelum, if they could've combined those ideas with Castle Oblivion KH2 would've been the GOAT

Instead they both ended up being Mash triangle: the game


Kh1 might have been the only one with a legitimately fun boss rush at the end, i "memorized" all of those Ansem speeches he whooped my ass so many times on Destiny islands

when they made Sora Donald, and Goofy travel to all those worlds for the "Power of Waking", just for them to say he had it in him all along, i was out.

that weak ass imitation of the 1000 heartless battle was ass too. How a PS2 game do something better than a PS4 game thats 13 years older?

the messy boss rush battles were kinda trash too for real

I got the Plat for KH3 and i have ZERO desire to go back to it


EDIT: I dont even wanna do the org data battles. No desire for Yozora either

I cannot fukking believe the insane bukkake of animations that occurred in each fight that would cause the game to drop to 10fps was approved by the game director. Might be the most absurd thing I’ve ever seen in a AAA game 10+ years in the making.

i stopped caring so i never finished any of the org13 fights to get to yozora

At this point, I don't think they know what's happening either.

One of the prime examples of what happens when you give someone too much creative control without much oversight. Now they have an issue where their lead is problematic and another is as well.

Imagine creating main story content in a mobile game for it to only end up getting cancelled before release

Time and resources that could have used on KH4 as it’s now going to be even more of a clusterfukk story wise.
