They never quieted down to hear what he had to say anyway, the battle was over after Verb's third, the crowd had already decided

Just like Verb's 2nd with Rex, the crowd made up their mind who was winning that round before hand, just because

I'll keep saying it because it's true, battling in smaller crowds of mostly other battle rappers enhances the quality of the battle. The only thing you'll miss out on are the OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH crowd moments, but most of them are to begin with
