kirk cousins has got to be the most OVERPAID mid tier QB ever. After this contract he will have made more career salary than brees, brady, rodgers and both mannings. let that sink in. he's owed nothing. he's never won anything. and he's a journeyman.

Kirk Cousins is the GOAT at fleecing teams out of money. That's where any sort of credit for his experience stops.

Kirt Cousins being overpaid and fleecing teams out of money is irrelevant to the topic of discussion. If a company brings you in to only end up drafting or bringing your eventual replacement, you'd feel a certain way about it too or stay your ass where you're at.

I can see both sides here

When you give that much of a bag to a player, youd at least should tell him what the plan is going forward, and obviously plan was to pick a QB in the early first.

On the other hand, I'm not sure what the expectation was realistically. Cousins is old, immobile and after a huge injury which further impeded his mobility. NFL is a cutthroat business, and he had to at least sense they would draft a young QB relatively early. It ain't even a Rodgers/Love situation, cuz Cousins has no mvps rings or body of work of Arod, and he was clearly brought in as a FA bridge qb for a couple of years.

My nikka if I were being paid as much as him at that age, I wouldn’t give a single fukk.

Why tf would I care about working still when I got the bag :mjlol:

That's you. Everyone is built differently.

Besides them bringing in Penix made it even more likely they wouldn't pick up the last two years of that deal. He would have literally gotten bench at some point next season if they wouldn't have pulled the plug when they did to prevent him getting injured.

So if you had the money he and and was close to retirement, you would be crying :childplease:
