I've been listening to this album everyday since Tuesday. I be jamming liiiiiiiike....But I have a feeling he's gonna end his concerts with Wanderlust....I cannot wait to see him again!

It might be growing on me Breh Brehs. I played the Trilogy all day to get in the proper head space and just now as I returned from a date I was starting to feel the first 4 songs a little more before I reached the crib.
Gonna pick up where I left off tomorrow. It's certainly not as demonic but maybe that's okay.

i think you just gotta let it breathe. give it a few more spins. weeknds music has ALWAYS been like that,for me anyway. hes not one of those artists where you can give one listen and judge. the unique production, the different vocal inflections, deciphering the lyrics. its like a puzzle, and each listen gives you a better,clearer view. I cant stop listening to the album personally. took me a few days to really appreciate it. and it was the exact same way with the trilogy.
as far as not being demonic, yeah at first i was a bit let down. but its a good thing. hes growing and evolving. only so many ways you can say you do coke and give bytches the bushes treatment before it becomes flat and uninspired. keep with it im telling you.
weeknd is mood music in the purest sense.
side note i saw him live on friday, first night of his tour. shyt was amazing. downed a bottle of alize right before the show started annd it set the night off perfect,was second row. show was so live we set the fire alarms off twice.

I saw him like a year and change ago at the Hollywood cemetery when he was hot as a pistol. Mad young brown kids with gauged ears. I thought he was decent. Drake came out and did The Zone.
But yeah, I'm starting to pay attention to the lyrics now and the little runs and shyt and the moods are starting to stick. Playing Trilogy really put me back in that zone.
When I first played kiss land it was right after some ol' hard rap album. Not a great Segway.

yeah i saw him last year as well. this show was much, much improved. hes really stepped up his live perfromance. dunno if you saw his kimmel performance but it pretty much repicated eveything about this show. same band and background. heres a vid
but yeah def not a good segway. weeknds just iin his own lane,musically.

Yo that's crazy. They did that cell phones up shyt when I saw him too. I hadn't been to a concert in like 5 years so that was new to me. I even caught myself doing it on some when in Rome shyt before I realized how gay I must have looked.
yeah that shyts annoying to me personally. i can understand taking a couple pics and shyt, thats fine. but just sitting there recording the whole thing?nah. concert footage by cell phones is always trash. i must be old, but what happened to just fukking living in the moment and enjoying the fukkin show. put that cell down and live life outside that thing

Yeah. I was buggin out by how gentle & kind and promptly the show ended at 10 and everyone got along etc. I was buggin out drunk...I went to a burger joint across the street and had the whole staff calling the burgers "Wu Tang burgers" and veggie burgers "weeknd patties". It was fun.
