I thought we were talking shooting %

Kobe proved that you dont have to shoot great in order to win championships.

Especially when you have another star on on the court. If LeBron had Kyrie....they win another championship so the % shyt dont matter.

Fwiw, I dont even dislike Kobe :pachaha:

shyt he did what needed to be done.

I just find it ironic people knocking him for doing what Kobe does. Unfortunately for LeBron he didnt have his #2 :manny:

Out of the west :wow:
Heres what people don't get. When Kobe won in 2009, the teams he faced won 214 games. In 2010, teams he faced won 207. When Lbron won in 2013, teams he faced won 190. Can't count 2012, strike season, so in 2014, teams Lbron faced won 205, lost finals. This year, teams Lbron faced won 217, lost finals. No coincidence as the teams get tougher, Lbron loses because hes not used to having to actually fight to get their. Kobe in the west for his whole career, was in a fight every round of every season. Building that toughness makes a difference as you go up higher levels. People don't think it makes a difference but it does. This year, the Celtics were under .500. 2013, Bucks were under .500. 2011, 6ers were .500. 2010, Bulls were .500. 2009, Pistons were under .500. 2007, both Washing and NJ were .500.
Thats seven teams .500 or worse that you are facing in the playoffs. Not only is that not impressive, beating those types of teams does nothing to help your team. Granted, its not anyones fault he had to face those teams, but he did stay in the east because its an easier conference. Lbron just isn't built for the tough road, and its glaring now. He went to Miami because he thought it would be easy.

Somebody gets it :obama: How can you be the GOAT playing in the JV conference? Not to mention you lost to two teams Kobe has to beat every year just to make it to the Finals? Hell he outscored the Mavs as a team through 3 quarters :heh:

We are talking basketball. People are bringing up % to clown all the dudes who always made it a point to drive home that Lbron was better because of his % and PER. But as we've seen, the higher Lbron goes up in competition, he gets exposed and hes not this basketball genius people make him out to be. In the end, the only stat that matters is if you won or not.

Yes but nobody had the nerve to defend Kobe after the Detroit series and proclaim him as the GOAT, and I just checked, 5-2 is still > 2-4
francis.png

Again..breh..you're getting me confused. I dont shyt on Kobe.

5-2 > is better than 2-4 :manny:

Kobe doesnt lose against the Mavs in 2011 :manny:

But if we look deeper at the 2-4 Only one of them shyts was his fault.

Kobe should have brought it better against Detroit.

Just saying this series wasnt the series to really knock LeBron :yeshrug:

There are other series over the years where he didnt step up to the challenge.

:laff: Stop it. He picked the damn team full well knowing who the players were and who the coach was. He was on board with picking JR, Shumpert and Love. Is it his fault that Love got hurt? No, but injuries happen to teams every year. Its disgusting that people still choose to ignore that Lbron wasn't forced to Cleveland. Dude is praised his entire career for "making his teammates better". Yet, everytime they lose, "those guys were scrubs, nobody can make them better". :stop:

I do think that Lebron would improve my team faster because he is basically a wing Shaq/Magic hybrid. You can't "stop" no shyt like that, but as long as you have someone to slow him down and stay on his shooters, you can beat his teams. He can cakewalk in the east as he has his career, but his road would be significantly harder in the West. You gotta give Kobe credit for doing it in the harder conference.

Act like kobe didn't have phil as well as shaq gasol and bynum down low brehs.

Steph didn't average 16. :russ:

He averaged 26. :stopitslime:
To be honest he was a huge front runner all series long. Prolly 12 of his pts usually came when they already had a nice lead

seems like a lot of players in the league secretly cant stand lebron. I dont remember kobe getting so many subliminal or overt shots from other players like lebron has over the years
Social media as we know it wasn't around til kobes 13th year or so. He was hated by his own teammates as a rookie. I could only imagine the airball and rape jokes if twitter was around back then

Breh.

Last year he put up 28/7/4 with excellent efficiency. Last year the Spurs just had a fukking superior team. The same way the Celtics had a superior team than the Lakers in 08. The same that, if we're being real, KG never getting hurt them 09/10 championships would have been even tougher to get.

This year he put 36/13/9 with not so great efficiency. His team was missing two stars so of course his efficiency dipped.

shyt is a lot bigger than just wins and losses.

His team played vastly superior squads. The Heat were a shell of themselves last year and this year his 2nd best player may have been Mozgov. C'mon son.

Again, I dont even like cutting down Kobe to prop up LeBron. But he was missing stars in the finals. Something Kobe never experienced.

According to @ALonelyDad Bynum cant be brought up cause he didnt show up in the playoffs/finals. I use to use that as an excuse for 08 back in the day to defend Kobe.

Please, in full detail, provide exactly what Shaq, Pau and Bynum all did when Kobe wasn't on their teams.

So you're telling me, that 2 guys who had never been to the postseason ever in their careers, were going to make that much of a difference? Name Kyries and Loves best playoff moments before this season.

breh. He didnt lose one, but TWO all stars. How is that not reasonable :dwillhuh:

I dont care if JR, Shump shot like shyt all series. If he had Kyrie out there balling and he STILL failed. Then yes that shyt would have been on him.
