hell yeah fam

Yea his sound progressively changes on each album. I liked Troubadour but I wasn't feeling this at all.

I get he's talking more about himself on this album rather than Somalia. He got divorced back in 2010 cause his wife found out about some stuff while he was on tour, he got two kids with her too
then he had some chick last year that he broke up with
and then you got the rise of his career with the Coca COla World Cup waving flag
but I KNOW he can rap, but he had to go straight pop... there's only like a couple joints on this album that I can rock with (the Nas joint and the last track)
I didnt know the dusty foot philosopher got down like that
as I thought it was the first time I listened to it, only songs I'd keep is the nas joint, and there's another I couldnt find it quickly just remember a line about going back and living like the prophet. I remember when I first discovered dude bout 3 years ago, and dug into some of his older music, I thought he could've been rap's Bob Marley. Even when I first played Troubadour I knew that waving flag was going to be huge, this just too pop for me. Tho I could see a handful of these songs getting thrown into movie soundtracksI didnt know the dusty foot philosopher got down like that
i just shuffled through this album on itunes to see if it was asas I thought it was the first time I listened to it, only songs I'd keep is the nas joint, and there's another I couldnt find it quickly just remember a line about going back and living like the prophet. I didn't want to believe it when I heard it breh, but my mom knew about it![]()
Back in Spring 2010, When K'Naan came to DC and was on tour with Wale, my mom was like "I wish I knew!" cause I showed her the pics of some other Somali skinnies I knew that went there and met with him. She said she would ask him one question : "Warya, Maxaa naagtadii uga tagtay?" (Why did you leave your woman)
I was like "Hooyo (mom) how do you know?"
She is like "You guys got computers, we use our phone"
Word spreads fast in the Somali community

any pics of his ex-wife![]()
