The Lyles rumor could be a smoke screen or it could be the knicks plan for one of #6 & #7

Or it could be Phil's way of letting teams know who the knicks want them to pick up in case they use one of those 2 picks to trade down to the mid lottery (likely WCS).

Draftexpress got Lyles right after that Celtics pick too who are on the record saying they want to trade up for WCS and got a shyt load of picks and will want to move olynk to chase K. Love.

As the founder and chairman of the Knicks Haters Association i must admit Phil has put in some good work. It's not easy getting rid of all the misfit crap that was on that roster and somehow he managed to do it.
I'm NOT happy about it at all
But you also have to realize these are New Yorkers and even worse, Knicks fans that he has to deal with. Say what you want about Knicks fans but they are the most hardcore basketball fans in the NBA. Any GM of the Knicks is bound to have these f@ggots breathing down his neck during his entire tenure. Thus why i can never understand hy Phil would have wanted this job.
