Lin is not coming back. dolan was an @sshole off the bat for trading him anyways when he could have had the stronger team when melo came back from injury. but they wouldnt pay LIN even though he was putting asses in seats and getting nikkas to watch the games again
Lin might've got the Knicks fans excited again but I doubt he put more asses in the seat than usual. MSG going be full capacity regardless of the Knicks record. Same with their viewership

I dunno breh even Ball Don't Lie on Yahoo mentioned this shyt earlier, doesn't mean it's true necessarily, but I don't think Yahoo AND ESPN would front on this.
I know the sources are their. Stephen A Smith spoke on this days ago around the start off all-star weekend and I believe Stephen a smith bball rumors.

lol haven't they been paying Felton a much inferior PG the same amount of money for the past 2 years that they would of paid Lin if they just matched Houston's offer.

Well, raymond has fallen off a cliff this year for whatever reason, but they were comparable players last year, with Lin making twice as much, so if you're gunna try to call out people's opinions of the two, you cant discount last year at your convenience.
Jeremy Lin was better than Felton last year too though. He started off slow because he was coming off knee surgery, but by the end of the season he was playing better than Felton. This season it isn't close at all. Jeremy Lin is a very good player. Would probably be the second best player on the Knicks.

The games without Harden this year. Jeremy Lin averaged 20.5/6/4.3

Like the other dude said, just admit you don't watch the Rockets and Jeremy Lin play.

Lin needs to with the Rockets

It's the best thing for him now.

I'm referring to this season. I could have swore he's been in and out the lineup a lot.
Nope. He missed all his games during Nov 27-December 12.

He's been in and out the starting lineup because of injuries to Beverly if that's what ur referring to.

Not if he's in a Knicks uni. That's the case for every other team he can play for except the Knicks.

That's why I find this rumor hard to swallow but it is the Knicks...

I've never understood it that way. You got a link? I found this fwiw:

The confusion as to which is correct stems from a now-irrelevant provision of the Arenas rule, whereby had Chicago and New York matched the deal, their cap hit would have mirrored the payment schedule. This was widely reported at the time, and as such, passed into the public conscience in a conflicting manner. But it's something that should be disregarded. That was something that didn't happen, cannot now happen, and thus is irrelevant. From now until the date the contracts expire, Lin and Asik will have cap numbers of $8,374,646 in each season, along with being paid $5.225 million this season and $14,898,938 next. This is true no matter which team they are on - even if Asik is traded back to Chicago, $8,374,646 will remain the cap number. While owners looking to trade for them must be mindful of the latter, it is the former figure which is used for all cap calculations, and thus trade permutations. So when you see their cap hit listed as $8,374,646, this is the one that matters. This is the figure around which outgoing salary in trade, cap room, proximity to luxury tax, and all that jazz, is calculated from. This, then, is the correct figure.

Pretty much. Harden is basically the PG and SG. Lin's played well given his minutes and opportunity- he's a role player there who's capable of a being a go to guy if need be(Harden injured/bad night, etc)

LOL @ that misleading stat....Hes a marginal player breh, and he is being paid all star money. You asked who the better option is, and salary plays a big role in that convo. Saying Lin was better than Felton last year is a highly debatable opinion.

To Knick fans, sure. To everyone else, no.
