they let lin go because of money:skip:

a franchise who makes antoine walker look like a amateur in pissing away money is complaining about a poison pill third year??

seriously, nobody gave a sh!t about the knicks last year until lin showed up and guess what nobody else will care next season

i thought the warriors ditching this guy without giving him a chance was stupid, now u have a team who knows what he can do and still lets him walk

lmao

As a knicks fan, as long as James Dolan is in control of this team, the knicks will remain irrelevant. It pains me to say that.

First off, Linsanity was the most exciting (short) era of the Knicks since the 99 days. Now, who gives a shyt about them. Not only did they lose the casual fans, they're losing the diehard fans. Instead of a young thriving PG like Jeremy Lin, Knicks are gonna have to watch a drunken wife beating psycopath like Jason huff and puff past the half court line and Raymond Felton will average a double double a game.... from five guys fast food restaurant.

Let's discuss how Lin won more games without Melo than Melo won without Lin.

Allan Houston 6/100... Dolan is a billionaire who cares

Jerome James 5/30.... okay, that's fine we're caking

Amare 5/99..... despite his knee injuries and overall decline, we can eat that

Jeremy Lin 3/25

slow your roll Dolan. I don't mind that he's a young thriving cash cow who is only gonna get better, the luxury tax is something we need to worry about.

Knicks went from being a fun relevant trash team to being garbage, irrelevant and boring. Enjoy having games on ESPN2 alongside the Sparks and Silverstars.

Have fun losing in the second round with Steve Nash!

ATL…overly
Your GM is Danny Ferry.

Ferry is being lauded around Atlanta & the league for his work with the Hawks in only a few weeks on the job

1. He got rid of two ridiculous contracts & declining players (Joe Johnson & Marvin Williams)

2. He built a roster full of expiring contracts that won't last past '12-'13. If this year doesnt pan out, we can rebuild the roster next summer when CP3 & D12 are available

If Danny Ferry couldn't build a championship team in Cleveland, what makes you think he can build a championship team in the ATL?

The New York Knicks suck. It's vitally important we accept this and move on with our lives. They never were and they never will be. With or without Lin it wouldn't make much of a difference but at least Jeremy Lin gave the fans something to look forward to by bringing some excitement to Madison Square Garden. You'll make the playoffs but you won't make it past the second round for a long long time I'm afraid.

they're franchised now basically everywhere besides westcoast.

:usure:

There's one in Seattle and in the bay. I just had a bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, grilled onions, tomatoes and jalapenos with cajun fries the other day.

While he was in CLE they were a championship contender every yr & had the best record yr after yr. He's got the pedigree of coming up under the San Antonio front office. His moves his first few wks indicate he has a plan. Were confident in :king: Ferry down here

This is the the first post that I've agreed with you since this Lin shyt started.

On topic: No hate on his contract. I would've signed it too. My opinion is that Lin realized he would be on Melo's responsibility level had he gone back to NYC.Proof of that is how many threads have been made today and this week regarding the guy. Now he can go play in Houston, shoot as many shots as he wants, and get stats on a shytty team. There's no pressure in Houston for him right now. I'm pretty sure the threadstarter is trolling because as long as the Knicks win no one will care about Lin and the only reason he cared is because ESPN plastered him everywhere. This Lin hype is equal to the Sessions hype when he arrived to the Lakers. All those Laker fans were falling all over themselves to talk shyt about how shytty Fisher was and how Sessions was gonna put them over the top. It was hilarious to see how that shyt unfolded. I'm done talking about this cat and I can't wait until football season starts. Baseball ain't interesting enough to keep shyt like this outta the news.

But do you have confidence in your ownership?
