But what I was trying to say was his comparison of top interpreters to top rappers made no sense. 90% rappers don’t know any instruments... and the question was language vs instruments

It’s not a debate of who would make more between rapper, orchestra director or interpreter.

The point was brought up to show the top 10 of most skilled industries clear 6 figures. And being all lingual you’d clearly make at least the top 10 of all interpreters and that’s me downplaying it. The person would probably be the top earner.

A principal master musician in one instrument at say the Philharmonic is pulling down $200-300k/year. We not even talking Yo Yo Ma level mastery. We are talking about mastery of all instruments on top of being a composer. So Hans Zimmer money + Yo Yo Ma money but 1st chair of everything and the private sector demand. Thats not even to say all that will get you more money than an interpreter (mind you, we are talking 100s of millions already). I just asked another poster, that wasnt this idiot, who said interpreters can make alot of money, if he thought musicians couldnt make money? Then this idiot replied with a bunch of rhetoric and started talking about Kanye and shyt. I just stopped replying to the nikka altogether. Its almost 5 o'clock. I aint getting paid to read his bullshyt anymore. Imagine knowing every language possible, and realizing you still have to talk to nikkas like that in every language, every time.
