I always used towhen people would say "so and so is (wherever) for a reason"....always came off as so trite.
But darn if you can't tell me Bron isn't with that team, at this time, for a reason. Talk about Bigger than Basketball...it all makes sense now.
Really imagine the Lakers being a struggling 16 win team being led by Brandon Ingram or D'angelo Russell at a time like this and expecting them to carry the mantle of the Lakers into the new decade.

Nah dog that’s the cruelty and beauty of life. Its temporary. It gives and it takes. A gift and curse. But it flows and continues with your seeds. I been feeling like we are part of this continuum and you can effect change with your life. Be positive and make a difference by being bigger than yourself. There’s no guarantee, but still that’s not an excuse to give up.
i think it was derek fisher who said it, that he doesn't know how gianna or kobe could have gone on without each other so although its gut wrenching but at least they went together
