40 minutes of excellence. I miss watching prime Kobe brehs. Dude was never afraid to attempt the impossible on the court.
No matter when he realized it, I bet he didn't panic. I bet he pulled his daughter close, told her he loved her, and went into the crash with dignity and no fear.
I still miss Kobe brehs, I still haven't gotten over his death honestly, not even close to getting over his death as much as we complain about TheColi sometimes, I'm extremely happy that this thread is still stickied, so props to whoever is responsible for it still being stickied love you forever Black Mamba, rest in paradise with your daughter
that interview is beautiful- cause it shows you through all of the media stuff, they really rocked with each other. and shaq knew he had a killer to go to war with him and sometimes took advantage of it by not coming in shape some seasons. i just really loved seeing kobe after his retirement, you could tell dude was loving his life. being the best father, husband and finding new challenges to conquer. thats what hurts about it. i was just on my way home from celebrating a weekend with my lady her birthday is 1/25 and we driving back home and your phone just start going off all kinds of messages and calls. it's like nah man thats too unreal- i was looking forward to kobe doing his hall of fame speech and shaq right there with him and they talking junk to each other all out of love. i do find myself looking at some of his interviews and trying to harness that discipline to get goals accomplished that i want to. i would love to get a pair of kobes but hypebeast just ruined that chance and his family not dealing with nike no more. but that 04-06 shaq with 04-08 type kobe they probably getting a few more rings if shaq stepped back and they retooled around them. kobe had that fire to win and wanted to get a finals mvp while with shaq cause a lot of people held that against him. so he wasn't gonna be denied at all before his career ended.
Yup his name passing on the screen last night just don’t sit right especially when you saw that mostly all the other greats ended up having pretty long lives.
