I’ll never forget I was over my parents house sleeping on the living floor and the news of his death (during the NFL Pro Bowl) woke me up out of my sleep. I still remember that moment to this day… I cried for the rest of that night. The only other time I did that was when my dad died.

If I’ve said it once I’ll say it again, i appreciate kobe in his later years, of not taking himself seriously and letting people in, I’m not a Kobe fan persay ( i respect him and his game, and can appreciate his greatness, but it’s bulls all day) but i hate we got robbed of the elder statesman kobe, i can only imagine how much more we’d know and enjoy of his post nba legacy, if he wasn’t taken too early

Such a horrible tragedy for someone who was just beginning his "2nd life". Especially thinking about how he started letting his guard down more and seeing his personality. I remember watching Muse and seeing him be that open, it was a joy to watch
