I dont post in here often, but when the reality of it hits me, I feel I need to post.

RIP Kobe & GiGi

We automatically assume our GOATs will go on to live long lives like Oscar, Ali, MJ, etc, but sometimes, they are called home much sooner. We wont know until we make that transition, but I'm quite sure Kobe done dropped a few 50 pieces for Team God already.

I remember that entire weekend vividly.

Saturday night, we were in Champsign, IL having a good time. Get back to Decatur Sunday morning and I'm in the tv room downstairs. I'm browsing the coli and see the thread posted, wishing it was a sick joke. When I saw TMZ post it, I was like :sadcam:

Went and got some pizza to bring back to the wife and kids that night. I know I didnt eat because I couldnt. The shyt is still a shock.

Bro I remember that shyt like it was 12 hours ago I’ll spoiler it but heres what I remember..


I remember I was in the bed that morning my girl was downstairs watching tv I got outta the shower threw on a Nike sweatsuit and I was headed down the steps with my Bruce lee Kobe’s (was really weird I was going to wear them before finding out the news) we was gonna take her parents to dinner, I saw his pic on the tv screen but didn’t pay attention to the text (figured it was something about Bron passing him the night before) and my phone was blowing up with notis ignored it too my girl turns around I’ll never forget the look on her face and I heard on the tv something like “Kobe Bryant Killed at age 41 with his Daughter Gianna she was 13” I felt like someone knocked the air outta me immediately went to the couch pulled out my phone and seen the notifications bruh I just set there staring blankly at the tv until commercials passed and I remember they was showing Bron getting off the team plane going to his wife where she hugged him and he was crying with that tissue in his hand.. Took me a few minutes for it to really register and had to end up going to dinner, Couldn’t eat shiit I wasn’t even really present at the dinner my head and thoughts were a million miles away from that dinner I didn’t talk didn’t eat literally had my phone out the whole time just reading and watching coverage with my air pods in.. Bought some henny on the way home set in front of the tv got drunk as fukk and just watched coverage all fukking day I don’t think I ate for a couple of days.. Such a shytty way to end the weekend..

Bro I went from helping my god momma move a few things to her new crib and being hyped for the Royal Rumble to having no energy at all once I saw the news on IG, Twitter and here. Hell my god bro was in his room talking about it on the phone, but I figured he was talking about Kobe speaking out about Bron showing out the night before so I brushed it off like :yeshrug:plus the TVs my god momma had was already on the way to the new spot so I ain't know shyt till I got on IG mins later. Instantly was like :mindblown::dwillhuh: I was like I don't even have the energy to do anything now but take a nap when I get home. Couldn't even rest right once I did get home cause that's when I found out about Gigi and the rest of the crew on board.
