Shaq was “dead weight” ?

What do you mean by he wasnt gifted a team?

Shaq was dead weight in the sense that he wasn’t going to get in shape nor fall back and play second fiddle to Kobe, one of them had to go.

And him having to come off the bench initially unlike Bron, Mike or even Magic.

STFU. Kobe had plenty of times to leave. Has LeBron stayed anywhere for 10+ years?

If LeBron was Kobe, he would've been gone by 2010, the moment he heard about "The Decision" and Superteams forming up :rudy:

And if not, he definitely would've been gone by 2013 :rudy:

No need to use Dennis as an example because like I said he’s been in the conversation. Hes also been behind Bron and mj. Cry all you want to my guy it ain’t changing nothing. It’s ok though y’all can hate on Bron all you want that hate won’t put him in front of Bron :umad:

He was the one in the convo with Jordan at first. Would he pass MJ if he gets 6 rings. Most said no,some said it would be a conversation to be had. He stopped being in the convo to pass Jordan once he retired and didnt get 6.

Lebron came into the convo because sports debate t.v needed a new "What If". Since Lebron still had the possibility of getting 6 rings.

This is the only reason it became a MJ/Lebron exclusive debate immediately after Kobe retired smh.

But Lebron still aint got to 5 yet:gucci:. And it doesnt look like he will get 6 but we will see after the Luka STEAL:wow:.

So Jordan just needs to be left alone and we make the debate Kobe vs Lebron for the number 2 spot

If we mostly agree MJ is #1.....

Who is #2? Kobe, Bron, Cap or Magic? Russell gets a nod too because he was Top 3 at worst on defense and won as many rings as MJ/Kobe combined.

Should this be based on stats, rings, style? Kobe fans lean into his style, rings, what other players say about him and the path he took. Bron fans focus on stats, versatility, floor-raiser tendencies etc.

If Bron had a 4-6 Finals record but stayed with Cleveland the whole time, would he jump to #1?

Does he take a hit for his Finals record or is it more about team hopping? If he was 5-5 or 6-4 with team hopping, would it make a difference? Do the rings not matter and people's perception (both sides) remains the same whether he had 2 rings or 8 rings?

If you're a poverty franchise with 20 wins and get the #1 overall pick...and he's guaranteed to stay for 10 years and play at his peak from Day 1, do you draft Kobe and get his best 10 years or LeBron?

Dead weight connotates shaq was useless or holding Kobe back which at the time wasn't true lol. He was still a perpetual mismatch and super plus player.

IDK how you can hold MJ n Bron starting immediately for shytty teams and going crazy as a detriment lol. MJ average 28 his rookie year :dead: IDK if being drafted to terrible teams and being forced to sink or swim day 1 could be called gifting a team :mjlol:

Not useless, of course not but the pair between them was becoming untenable. Shaq by his own admission used to try and go to Phill and get him to hold Kobe back. And while he said Phill ultimately told him he wasn't going to curtail his aggression this happened:

Not a big deal as an isolated incident, but that's what it was going to look like going forward for them. Even after he left for Miami GP had to pull him to the side to keep him from trying to same shyt with Wade as he did with Penny and Kobe.

I never said it's to their detriment but to Kobe's advantage when it comes to gauging who had a more difficult path. Bean might have held the scoring record if he came out the gate with a green light instead of backing up Eddie Jones (who was dope af in his own right).

His path to greatness was harder and that's what I would say to make his case to be in the conversation.

Do you really want to get into a parenting conversation with LeBron vs Kobe?

Let's get serious here.

Kobe tried to get traded and came out on TV begging for Dr buss to trade him.

This is a fact, not opinion.

Even his female disciples cooking:

That is all Kobe fans have now girl basketball. Lol that is his legacy.

Being a ball hoggi g shot jacket is never coming back. I'm glad men and young boys moved on from that idiotic cancerous style of play that AI and Kobe were in after MJ hung it up.

I prefer analytic ball to that shyt and I hate analytic 3 ball.

Here's another fact. Kobe Bryant played for ONE team his entire career.

I'd rather have the mid-range assassin. LeBron is more efficient at the rim (shooting 70% or so) than Kobe is (shooting 60% or so). In the mid-range Kobe is better...and we say this like the mid-range is a small place on the court. We've all been on a basketball court. The mid-range is everything between the three and the rim. That's a lot of space to be deficient at. Lebron hovers in the 30s percentage-wise in most places, whereas Kobe hovers in the 40% range.

Lebron knows he's not good at shooting so he goes in for dunks and layups where he is effective. But in the Playoffs, when defenses tighten up, that shyt didn't work. He lost to the Orlando Magic, with multiple games coming down to 1 or 2 points. If my guy could hit a jumper or hit a high percentage from the free throw, he probably could've won. Boston took away those dunks in 2010 too. LeBron averaged 32ppg, 7rbs, 6ast on 54% the first three games vs. Boston in 2010. The last three games of the series, he averaged 21ppg, 11rbs, 8ast on 34% :scusthov: because nobody is gonna allow someone to keep dunking. LeBron really just had two good games, one mid game, and the other three games he was horrible but, most Bron Stans will never do a deep dive on his numbers :manny:
Kobe stans always post the dumbest shyt :unimpressed:

Lebron is significantly better at playoff scoring than Kobe. He's more efficient than Kobe, he's better at volume scoring than Kobe, and he's better against elite defenses than Kobe. Young Lebron with a mediocre supporting cast from 2008-2010 consistently outperformed prime Kobe against the Celtics and Magic, he didn't need an elite midrange jumper to score more and do it more efficiently.

You took a series where Bron averaged 40 on 60 TS% and said if Bron hit a jumper or two his team would have won. That is the level of statistical analysis for Kobe fans :mjlol:
