Yeah, field goal percentage is CAC mess.:mjlol:

The objective of the game is to put the ball in the basket. Kobe put it in the basket less and takes more shots to do it. What's the reason for this if he is the most skilled player ever? :ohhh:

No. The objective of the game is to win.

And Kobe Bryant did that better than anyone not named Michael Jordan in modern NBA history.

Nope, that's Tim Duncan.

System player. Greg Popovich made those teams. The fact they were successful after he left with just Kawhi proves that. Unfortunately Kawhi got hurt against the Warriors last year and didn't play this year. But when he was healthy, that Spurs team didn't lose a beat.

They also never lost a beat when Tim Duncan was getting old over the years. Once again proving he's nothing more than a system player.

The Lakers immediately fell apart after Kobe's achilles injury when he was no longer playing at an elite level. That's the difference between an all-time great and a system player. When Kobe fell off, the Lakers fell off. When Duncan fell off, the Spurs success kept on going.

The fukk is wrong with Kobe trying to get him to conserve energy and get easier buckets. Doesnt he realize this man is holding the eastern conference hostage and shows no signs of stopping? Let them young nikkas have a run already Bron damn :mjcry:

I watch the ep and instead of seeing people talk about the breakdown I see a stan war instead :martin:

Anyway that was a pretty good analysis, this one was less about breaking down the defense and more about how to make the game easier on LeBron throughout a series. It seems like Kobe's impressed with Brown and Tatum.

Kobe's knowledge of post is pretty extensive. A lot of young players should be taking a page out of his book.

All I'm seeing is that the Spurs and Pop have no rings without Duncan, and 5 with him. The Lakers have 11 without Kobe, and Phil has 6 coaching rings without Kobe.:ohhh:

All that matters is winning, right? Duncan never lost less than 50 games :ohhh::ohhh:

AND he has more accolades? :ohhh::ohhh::ohhh:

And he won with less help than Kobe's ever won with in 2003, beating Kobe and Shaq along the way? :ohhh::ohhh::ohhh::ohhh:

When Duncan retired, they won 6 less games the next season. When Kobe retired, they won 9 more games the next season.:troll:

Efficiency? Isn't winning 5 rings more efficient than 3 or does that not count:patrice:
LeBron will never pass 3 rings :umad:

Thank you for proving my point.

In 2015-16, when the Spurs won 67 games, Tim Duncan played in only 61 games. And in those 61 games played, he averaged only 25 minutes per game and only 8.6 points per game. That's the sort of playing time and production of a ROLE PLAYER.

Like I said, Tim Duncan was a SYSTEM PLAYER. Spurs won more games in 2015-16 than they did during any other year in Duncan's tenure and they did that with Duncan barely playing and producing. Compare that to Kobe, whose Lakers team was in the lottery when he was no longer an elite player.

Spurs were great without Duncan being great. Lakers became lousy once Kobe was no longer great. That is the difference between a system player (Duncan) and an all-time great (Kobe).

Imagine if Lues game plan for the first 10 plays was Bron in the deep post to get whoever guarding him 2 quick fouls

Watching this, i see why nikkas got Brons in 5

MJ = system player because the Bulls won 55 games without him playing.:lolbron:

All I'm seeing is the same number of rings, more Finals MVPs, more MVPs, more wins.

No. The Bulls just had another top 10 all-time player on their team (Scottie Pippen) leading the way in 1994-95.

Duncan's titles and accolades came as a result of the Spurs system. It was not a by-product of his skill or talent. And when I rank players, I'm ranking based on skill and talent. Not on titles or awards that are largely the result of the players and coaches around you.

Your comparison means shyt if the players don’t play the same. Scoring layups don’t make you more efficient than a guy shooting jumpers :ohhh: and by this logic LeBron is more “efficient” than Steph Curry the best natural shooter in league history :ohhh:
