Player A shoots 45% = 9/20 with 1 shot from halfcourt

Player B shoots 50% = 10/20 while being shook to take that halfcourt shot

@Trip being the math geek nerd that he is believes player B is more efficient than player A. :mjlol: even though player B is more selfish than player A.

you're gonna continue down this strawman path i guess huh

Must suck watching sports and having math formulas race through your head.

How did the Lakers ever win with such an inefficient chucker like Kobe according to your formulas Hollinger?

efficiency means nothing? Do you understand basic math? Tell me the value of a missed shot and then tell me how efficiency means nothing. And scoring efficiency isnt the entire makeup of a player- rebounding(offensive/defensive), turnovers and defense all matter. All of those guys you listed are all time greats anyway.

Ill end this quickly, Chris Paul is the 6th most efficient player in NBA History....Steph Curry is ranked the 27th most efficient player in NBA history, 21 spots behind him.

Who's the better player?

Because they Lakers had great teams? Why do you bring up Hollinger?

Who's going to be considered the better player All-Time?

Curry didnt turn into a super-duper star till last year. In terms of WS/48(which includes more than shooting efficiency), Jordan has the best % all time...which pretty much fits the narrative of him being the best ever.

But Kobe is the most inefficient player in NBA history according to you.

So if they replace Kobe with.... let's say... Terrence Ross, Lakers still win that ring right?

Watch games with your eyes, not your TI-82 calculator.

This geek just implied that we can replace Kobe with Jamal Crawford and they still would have won rings cause Jamal would have missed less shots. :mjlol:

I never implied that at all. Kobe was a much better player than Ross or Crawford(again, stop with the silly strawmans) If you replace Kobe with someone like a Clyde Drexler or Ray Allen in their primes(who never played on teams as good as Kobe)...there's a good chance the Shaq and Pau teams win titles too.

What was Kobe's winning percentage without Shaq or Gasol?
