I think youre one of the many that take all he does for granted then.

No other player has to effect the game in so many ways like he has to for his team to win. Defensively, Offensively, on the boards, its all on him for the most part.

When his offensive game is lacking, people act like he isnt shyt and not helping the team stick around or even take the lead.

I think this is the result of primarily great scorers like Kobe and Mike (although MJ did have strong defense, he was never asked to rebound like Bron).

People fail to analyze games deeply a lot of the time. Not saying you specifically but many posters on here, that are still unwilling to give him props.

And I do realize part of this is just the "stan wars" and nobody wants to give an inch either way(somehow giving Lebron props is taking away from Kobe now and vice versa)

He isn't the first guy to guard multiple positions. Tbh really 2s and 3s exclusively and sparingly on 1s and 4s because he would get ran into the ground guarding both for long stretches. He can play that way because the game is different surely that plays a part in how he can guard 5 positions. I can appreciate it as a fan of the game I just think gets overstated a bit.

You said "he folds." Where did he fold at any point in the last decade, and yes his numbers are terrible unquestionably. But it's not you folding if your team is getting blown out and quit on you. Look at 08 vs. Boston, the Mavs series in 2011, 2012 vs. OKC. LeBron does have better numbers in these games, no one is questioning that....

I can appreciate this specifically cus when I played ball, I was very good at defense and often my coaches would run a box and 1 with me trying to shut down the other teams scorer while the my teammates played zone...

Yeah I can to an extent if that wasn't such a chronic weakness it wouldn't need be a focus of his game. I actually think he should switch on a guy earlier but thats probably the "hater" coming out in my post

are u joking? that 2010 celtics team was wayyy better than a young, developing okc team or an old, hobbling spurs team.

bron took a cavs team to the finals (possibly easiest road to the finals in playoff history?) only to get swept by the spurs. if he played in the western conference that season, he woulda been swept in the 1st round. if he woulda played with smush parker, luke walton, and kwame brown in the starting line-up, he woulda had a total of 25 wins, and thats being generous.
