He's an all-time great, he's just not as great as his fans seem to think.

If you want to put him in the top 10 I don't have any objections, but if you think he's the GOAT or top 5.....:scust:

Kobe ain't GOAT, but he's disrespected so much it's crazy, he's as great as Duncan, matter fact I think both are top 6 players of all time.

Kobes 5 year stretch post Shaq included
55 forty point games, 19 fifty point games, 2 scoring titles, 1 MVP, 3 straight trips to the finals, back to back rings, back to back finals Mvps, along the way he averaged 30,6,6 in the post season, 1 gold medal

Now @Malta you know your shyt, being a fan of the game, is that not elite? Aside from Jordan what perimeter player accomplished this? That's more than what most guys do their entire career, that was a 5 year run of greatness.

I GET WHAT THEYRE SAYING...
KOBE IS AN ALL TIME GREAT
BUT IS HE AS GREAT AS THE RINGS SAY HE IS?

YALL THINK REGGIE
AND CLYDE COULDNT HAVE WON RINGS WITH SHAQ AND GASOL?

REGGIE WOULD HAVE PROBABLY SHOT 55 PERCENT FROM THE 3
WITH THE LOOKS SHAQ WOULD HAVE GOTTEN HIM.

CLYDE GOT TO 2 FINALS AS THE MAN...
REGGIE GOT TO A FINALS AS THE MAN...

NIETHER ONE HAD TEAMMATES ANY WHERE CLOSE TO SHAQ AND GASOL.

KOBE COULDNT GET OUT THE 1ST ROUND...
CLYDE WAS PUTTING UP 27, 8 & 6 IN 50% IN HIS PRIME....

LIKE @Gravity SAID
KOBE ALSO HAS THE PERCEPTION OF BEING ONE OF THE MOST CLUTCH
PLAYERS,
WHEN THE NUMBERS SHOWS HES ACTUALLY ONE OF THE WORST
HES JUST HAD MORE CHANCES.

HES A GREAT BUT HES NOT HEAD AND SHOULDERS ABOVE SOME OF THE OTHER GREATS
HE JUST HAD BETTER TEAMMATES.

You're like the worst mod i ever seen

Robinson isn't top 10, Barkley and Malone aren't top 10 they aren't even the best ever at their own position, and could put Kobe over one of them.

They all scored more efficiently than kobe and had better defense except barkley thus contributed more to their team.. try to disprove me :D

Yes watching games is perception bias.
You have statistical analysis so that you can have a more objective understanding of what you're actually seeing.

We don't pattern/structure stats to confirm what we see.
Believe made up stats over your own eyes brehs

Win shares are achieved on defense too.
Despite Win Shares being flawed too. This article is based on Wins Produced - which doesn't factor in defense. I know you have an agenda to push but you're smarter than to take this metric seriously.

I know exactly what I'm talking about.
You don't.
No you don't. You have absolutely no idea of what you're talking about. If you had any understanding at all on how Wins Produced is formulated and the dishonest nature it'd take for someone to use it (and absolutely nothing else), you wouldn't be in here talking in circles about nothing.

A statistic having a certain scope and being dishonest are completely different things and you know it.

Please.

I think that the only people that are hating on kobe are the fans from the teams he embarrassed, and whites.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?

Easy, David Robinson played like shyt in the playoffs, when things mattered most he went from statistical monster to "We really need someone else to take over for this guy". If it weren't for Tim he'd be remembered as a soft center that shriveled up in the playoffs time and time again, his production in the playoffs pales in comparison to his regular season, you ain't top 10 when that happens.

Karl Malone was :ld: great numbers but Scottie said it best "The mailman doesn't deliver on Sundays" sorry but I like my big men to have elite back to the basket games, he didn't have one and he's not the best player ever at his position. Kobe could at least create shots for himself at an elite level, we'll never know if Malone could do that because he played all but 1 year of his career with a PG that constantly set him up.

I wouldn't take any of these 3 guys over Kobe :yeshrug:

There you go again, talking in circles - deflecting based on some semantic that you aren't even privy to. Just stop. Go back to TLR. :manny:

He's an all-time great, just not the best ever. And the disrespect he gets is because people kept saying he's as good or better than Jordan, that's not his fault but blame his fans for the backlash.

Eh, right now Bron is comparable to that 5 year run Kobe had.

You're talking in circles. Lol
How many times have I stated that no one stat is indicative of a player's entire value?

Quote where I have argued otherwise. Please.
It's one stat with a limited scope that shows that a certain beloved player isn't as efficient as you all though he was.

But this being the coli....red pill/blue pill.
