They may have had the best talent, but they weren't the best team. They were still learning how to play together.

They were clearly the best team, in fact they were ahead and could have taken the series had lebron not started punching dwades. Mia loss that series much more then Dallas won it.

this is the most 100percent realist post in this thread. kobe's emotion those last several minutes of that all star game was the most excitement i seen from him all season. dude is a great baller that i respect tremendously, but he really does force some of this on himself when it doesnt exist. lebron just doesnt care what kobe or mike thinks or want him to think. just like last year when kobe yelled at bron for passing up the final shot. bron like, i got a bigger picture in mind. kobe wants bron to sieze the moment, its a fukin all star game.

So now were knocking his fire to compete??

dumb.

Whats more funny is he never said Lebron's name.

What he said was basically what anybody who wants to win does...period, Whats the whole point of the whole thing if you don't take home the crown b.

Yeah if that team he was on with Shaq, didn't win, then yeah, I could see your point.

But since when are Malone, Iverson, Nash and Barkley considered failure. The simply weren't on the best teams.

And they all got the most out of their talents.

the jazz were heavy favorites in 98 and had home court advantage against a tired and aging bulls team that had barely gotten out of a 7 game series vs the pacers. :mjpls:

they went 11-3 in the post season and beat the rockets, spurs, and a lakers team with shaq and kobe. they won 62 games and swept the season series against the bulls.

in 97 they had an even better record (winning 64 games), the league mvp in malone.

both teams were championship caliber teams, and had it been anyone other than the bulls in the east odds are they would've won.

No, Dallas was clearly a team, that functioned better as a unit, and Carlise simply out coached the Heat coach.

They were pretty evenly matched, except for one area, Mike was better than Karl, simple and plain.

Not like Karl didn't put up good numbers, but Mike was just better.

Still don't make Karl a failure as a player, he got the most out of his talent.

:what::what: what the hell does that have to do with anything, that can be said year in year out. Miami lost that finals on stupidity, Lebron had the best team in 2011. No one except Dallas Homers would have bet on a Dallas championship.

So. What, you tryna say, Kobe saw no difference between the lakers and Charlotte other than the uniforms?:stopitslime:

Goat franchise, remember? We're does Charlotte rank breh?

Kobe wanted to play for the Lakers franchise itself. He was a Lakers stan, just like me, before he even got to the NBA. Shaq was just a "welcoming gift" from The Logo and Dr. Buss:shaq:

LeBron wanted to team up with Wade and Bosh to force a dynasty which has NEVER been done before in NBA history so blatantly, which is why all the Legends of the NBA give LeBron the :stopitslime: when it comes to where does he fit on the All-Time list

all lebron needed to do in 2011 is get his regular season averages. he didnt need to pull a jordan and score 40+ a game, or average a triple double or anything major. all they needed to win that series was him to be himself.

instead he averages 17, gets outscored by jason terry and it cost the heat the title. CHOKE job if i ever saw one.

look at Lebrons game 4 of the 2011 finals stat line :scusthov:

3-11 field goals. 8 points. 4 turnovers :heh:

outscored by deshawn stevenson that night :snoop:

it is ridic how people are just ignoring these stats like they never happened. easily the biggest choke job i have ever seen in the nba finals

:comeon: so having home court, being heavy favorites, and then getting their backs blown out by 54 points isnt a colossal failure?

the JAZZ themselves will tell you they fcked up a great opportunity to win a title

The reason the Mavs won is because Jason Terry outplayed LeBron James:ufdup:

Wade and Dirk canceled each other out.

:childplease: at nikkas comparing Kobe telling Buss to get his shyt together or else to LeBron actually leaving.

If your wife divorces you tomorrow without trying to work shyt out and takes you for everything, and runs off with the next dude...........that's worse than your wife sitting you down and giving you an ultimatum to put some real work into yall marriage issues or she's leaving. And after a year of counseling, she stays & yall back to a good place. How can you compare the two? Let alone the fact that 2005-2007 Lakers were at a way lower point than the 2008-2010 Cavaliers :snoop:

I dont even know why I'm asking. You Bron stans will just run around the point anyway :snoop:

Pride, If it was kobe now..Im sure he would have gave more of an effort, but yo....

Im 23-24, Niqqaz is saying I rode another man's coat tails, and I have plans to be the greatest to ever do it...

I aint going out of my way to stop you, plus you mad jealous of me anyway...what I need u for niqqa?? Shaq wasn't stupid, he was going down there with a rising talent..similar to kobe in some respects, him and kobe mostly didnt like each other.. and this isnt all on Kobe, Dr Bus wanted SHOWTIME, which never manifested, but he wanted it none the less.
