What if Kobe wins another ring without Phil? Are people going to say he needs to win a ring without another top 10 player on his team? Why is Kobe always held at a higher standard than his peers? shyt is stupid as fukk... basketball is a team sport and no player can win anything without a good team around him.

The problem is that I doubt that he will, even Jordan's championship greatness is conditionally tied to Phil. He had a certain respect as a coach that Mike Brown or D'antoni don't have.

Kobe has said it that he wanted to prove that he could win without Shaq, but he failed to prove that he could win without Phil. The same with Jordan, but I don't think Jordan was determined to prove that he could win one without Pippen or Phil.

Yes Gasol had 18 rebounds in Game 6.....but Kobe had 15 rebounds in that Game 6 as well and he is a SG
