I've done it before. Before the internet i used to listen to albums and write the lyrics down (I had notebooks full of them). It'd take forever because I'd keep having to pause and rewind to catch what rappers were saying. I'd be in my room with albums on repeat and just keep reciting the lyrics.
I think the first Jay album I did that with was vol 2. I remember because it took me a while to write the lyrics to Jigga What for some reason.

I swear I did the same thing with Bone Thugs N Harmony albums back in high school. shyt was funny as fukk when I look at it now because I was only doing that shyt so I wouldn't sound crazy while trying to recite they raps while listening. I'd be on the bus spitting that shyt and everyone else would be like
