This hurts as a fan, a lifelong fan, but it hurts a lot knowing he didn't want it this way. That through all these injuries he just kept trying to go, which is exactly what you'd expect from Kobe. This guy inspired my attitude towards everything in life, what it takes to be great and successful, and this is how it ends. I wanted a story book ending and instead we got hit with some fukked up reality.
