the defense Jones played had no effect on the shot. however, Jones walking under him after the shot was indeed a foul.
if thats what you're saying then i agree with you 100%.
the thing to figure out is if it was intentionally dirty of Jones to keep walking under him or not.

Yep, I've always thought a foul is a foul from the opening tip to the final buzzer. Regardless of who is involved, if the refs want to swallow their whistle at the end and not call incidental contact or a foul on someone's followthrough (like Dahntays foul on Kobe) then whatever, but if you let guys get hit on their shooting arm WHILE SHOOTING, it goes beyond letting the players decide the game, the refs are deciding the game at that point.
I don't know if Dahntays play was intentional or not but the way to prevent that type of thing is to not completely throw rules in the bushes in the final seconds.

If they could do it over they'd make the exact same non-call again. The idea that the league thought they should call it differently is just lip service.
