SINY!!
Kobe started the season playing off the ball and posted some of his best more efficient numbers of his career. But let yall tell it he's totally ineffective unless he balhogs.

Yes, more then then at any other point in his career.....just sayin' I don't know that a Lebron/Kobe duo would work. It really would be on Kobe to make the adjustment to playing with a Lebron.

Kobe is an alpha male. I cant see him making that adjustment when I still believe that he can play at a very high level (even coming off the Achilles).

lmfaooooo, what a terrible comparison. :russ: :ohlawd:

LeBron/Wade does not equal Kobe/Shaq other than they black, champions, and play NBA basketball. Kobe and Shaq's games complimented each other perfectly, LeBron and Wade had to develop their individual games more so they could better work together and they still aren't perfect playing on the floor together at the same time.

Just stop it breh.

I like how you didn't address the first part...

but anyway, it's a good comparison in this context because Shaq (like LeBron) had gotten very close to winning rings on his own without the other one - like Black Ball said. Then, he got on a team with a great wing (Wade) and won. Isn't that exactly what the scenario would be if Bron signed with the Lakers next year?

If so, and they win a ring, Kobe in his mind would be doing LeBron a favor "increasing his ring count"...like LeBron wouldn't be doing him a favor "increasing his ring count". Kobe, please.

Ego is the only adjustment Kobe would have to make, in terms of their game they'd be great together. No need to ask LeBron to be an outside threat when you got one. The combo of an offensive genius on the outside and a slashing locomotive is much better than LeBron and Wade whom are much too similar.

Kobe actually said it the other way around in the OP. He said he don't think that Bron would want to help him increase his ring count, but since he's doing it for Wade, anything is possible.

Who wants to play for the lakers now

1. Bad Owner in Jim Buss

2. A GM who scared to do anything because of Jim Buss in the fear he might lose his job

3. A Coach who don't know the difference from his azz to a hole in the wall

4. A Franchise Player who's 35 and still want to act like if another superstar comes there they have to do and listen to what he says no matter what.

and kobe only wants a player that will shoot when he tells them to shoot. FOH niqqa. u want number 6 u better start polishing lebron , melo and a couple of other players balls to have them come to the lakers

1. LeBron never played with anyone in Cleveland on the level of Penny, stop it.

2. It took Shaq 5 seasons to get a ring in LA, and talent wise those teams were much more loaded than the 3peat teams. LeBron and Wade got together in their primes more less whereas Shaq reached his prime and Kobe developed into Top 3 at his position by the time the 3peat started.

Different paths, different types of players, different locker room/front office politics. Just doesn't compare to me. :heh:@comparing #8 Kobe to struggle wade.

I think both would agree they were equal partners and neither would say they carried the other. It's nothing like the Wade/Bron dynamic.

I do agree that most will say that it was Shaq's team, but what does that really mean? On the court, they were equally important.

Are you out of your mind :scusthov:

Shaq was CLEARLY the best player on those title winning teams.

Hell Kobe himself referred to himself as the side kick.

If kobe called himself a sidekick that probably meant a sidekick to shaq's oversized personality. If you look at actually contributions in those championship years kobe was clearly equal to shaq and even carried him at times.
