I've seen you post before...how come kobe gets all these excuses and context but yall just ignore context with other players? hypocrites

IM not given excuses i just dont like the overrating of lebron and revising history about kobe in the finals

This is why i can really fuk with the seum as much anymore. Maybe its always been like this but its just been out of hand lately. If you feel Kobe better than bron while I disagree, at least come with honest arguments for your case smh.
Right breh, the arguments just be illogical LeBron hate.

Triple teamed by athletic defenders, plus broken fingers, some of us actually watch the game but at the end of the day:

This is all that matters

Kobe had a teammate average 34 ppg on 59% in 3 straight finals while winning 3fmvps while kobe shot 40%

Imagine if lbj had that kind of help:wow:
so you want Lebron to be a sidekick. the guy that choke against the Mavs, will not survive against the Kings and Blazers. well the Spurs :russ:

"There is no perimeter threat other than Kobe. His best playmakers on the roster are his big men in Gasol and Odom. Kobe carried the ball handling, the shot creating, the post player feeding and the floor spreading, the primary scoring for his team. Lakers frequently played with very very little space on offence, not allowing Kobe to get to his spots without extensive defensive pressure like other stars like LeBron or Curry had the privilege of thanks to the ridiculous floor spacing on their teams. There is a reason why Lakers were able to build those big line-ups, because Kobe could create a shot anywhere, against any defence. Thats why the concept of Kobe-assist got magnified in the first place. The reason why Lakers always had a higher than expected pace while playing half court-slow tempo offence has always been the offensive rebounding opportunities from Kobe's shot creating ability against high defensive pressure and compact space. It was his aggressiveness and gravity against the opposition defence that anchored that Laker offence, which is quite untraditional to the regular basketball viewer of high paced-heavily spaced offences of today.

Its pretty easy to undermine his 6/24 shooting game with just looking for reasons to hate and not thinking in depth of offensive structure. Kobe loosening his aggressiveness on offence would be a recipe for disaster for those Lakers. And as a matter of fact, when his shot turned back on, defence was already way too tired to stop him.

and wait so nobody talks about Game 4 and 5 of that series, how was his teammates again ? :russ:

it wasn't bad and they won so :manny:.

then what the hell you talking about? :dahell: he had hella clutch 4th quarters the throughout the entirety of that season. :camby:that's exactly why you need to be watching games instead of stats.
Close games always had him taking a ridiculous portion of the shots down the stretch and he generally shot a very low percentage. They typically scored well below their normal rate when it became Kobe ball. The definitions and criteria used for "clutchness" are all over the map.

go watch some playoff highlights from those championship years because you don't know what you're talking about. he wasn't called "the best closer in the game" for no reason.

Yes he was :ld: He was stylistically very similar to Jordan in many ways so the lines were blurred over time and people actually gave him credit for being similar in substance and overall impact.

Kobe's game did not get better in crunch time. People just conveniently forget how many times he played poorly in crunch time and they lost. Or how many times he played poorly and his team won anyway.

For most fans its more about looking the part than what really happened.

That nikka would not be able to play with another nikka dominating the paint.he aint no team first player either he has to be the one getting all the assists
