Kobe was the overall best player of the 2000s....what's so hard to understand about that though?

From 2000-2009:
28.1 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 5.2 apg, 1.7 spg, 0.5 bpg
4x NBA Champion
1x NBA Finals MVP
1x Regular Season MVP
10x NBA All-Star
10x All-NBA Team (7x 1st Team, 2x 2nd Team, and 1x 3rd Team)
9x All-Defensive Team (7x 1st Team and 2x 2nd Team

Who has a better resume from the 2000s (2000-2009) than Kobe Bean Bryant?:childplease:

Tim duncan

22 11 3 0.7 2.2

3 time nba champ
2 finals mvp

2 regular season mvp

The guy who just lost the Finals named Tim Duncan does. Not to mention that Shaq was in the league too. Kobe is and has been a beast for a while but he's not been the undisputed best each and every season all those years. This is about him being the best player all those years not who has the best accumulated resume.

How do you decide who has been the best player of the decade by NOT looking at their accumulated resume for the entire decade?:dwillhuh:

The 10's is LeBron's Era

Are you gonna go back and say...

"No, Moses Malone won 2 MVPs in the 80s...Bird won 3 MVPs in the 80s...Magic wasnt the best in every single year!":rudy:

Shaq got 3 of those titles being the man so he doesn't have an argument as to being the dominant player in the 2000's. Duncan got 4 and he has no say in it either. U got Kareem owning the 70's era but he only has one title. So what are you basing this on. Being the best player or having the most rings during that era. Point blank is other than 06 and 07 Kobe has always had other players who could have been considered just as good or better than him. So please stop acting like Kobe owned the entire 2000's like Jordan and Magic did. And even Magic's era should have Bird right there with him. Just like Kobe's should have Duncan and Shaq with him. AI would have a right to owning the 2000's era as well if he had a ring or two. And since your are looking at their accumulated resume how can you form the opinion that Shaq and Duncan don't deserve consideration too.

He doesn't have a clue what he is doing that's why. If rings is his argument as to being the best and Duncan got 4 being the man while Kobe had to share the wealth with Shaq then Tim should be first for the 2000's era. And Wade cause he got 1 without Bron should be over him then right. He's too busy being a Kobe stan to see that were quite a few players who could make the argument that they were the best during the 2000's. Definitely more than their were in the 80's when Bird and Magic ran things. Definitely more than the 90's when Jordan was the undisputed best.

:mindblown: at the argument being provided for Allen Iverson getting player of the decade considerations...

Never ceases to amaze me what having cornrows and badass sneaker commercials can do for a guy's image and career...

It's not about rings.....you dont have to speak for me. I'm grown, I can speak for myself.

Kobe was elite EVERY single year of the 2000s. Consistently top 3 player from 2000-2009.

Shaq wasnt, AI wasnt, Duncan wasnt. Hell, Duncan has never even beat a Kobe led team in the playoffs:ufdup:

And since you keep on TALKING......post the entire stats for these "quite a few players" that you say had a better 10 year run, 2000-2009, than Kobe Bryant.

That's right you cant, because you're talking out of your ass and not bringing any facts to the table with you:comeon:

Why dont you post their stats from 1980-1989

I'm not about to do your work. You say Bird was better, I say prove it. Where are the numbers?

You and this dude Reggie just talking, but aint bringing nothing to the thread but words.

Post their 10 year stats if you saying Bird was better than Magic from 1980-1989, plus their All-NBA teams/All-Defensive Teams/All-Star team awards as well
