Looking at this comparison from a two on two standpoint is fukkin stupid. Two totally different duos. I think in terms of their basketball peaks on their most successful teams as a duo is a better argument. Phil doesn't factor since he coached both teams so its strictly team vs team with the two focal stars matching up against one another in terms of impacting the game for each others squad. Prime Kobe/Prime Shaq on the '01 squad vs Prime Jordan/Prime Pippen with the 72-10 squad is a more reasonable comparison to me.
