Kobe a GOAT not goin against him per se but I think this is a bit overkill in a way of thinkin

I’d understand if dudes showin up late and missing practice etc. but u don’t kno wat work nikkas puttin in when u not around

to me it jus sounded like he didn’t respect certain teammates and felt like they wasn’t worthy of takin some shots he could cuz he knew wat his work ethic was

nonetheless still great to tap into the mind of a man who did it all in his profession
Calm down smush. The reality is the best training available was at the team facility. Theoretically players could've been doing some shyt elsewhere but I find it unlikely and Kobe clearly thought so.

So Phil told us exactly what Kobe said and why he didn’t pass the ball to certain teammates. But you come in here saying it was something else?? :pachaha:

Rest In Peace to Kobe, but that's verbatim a comment he took from Michael Jordan.
Jordan wasn’t the first one who said that. So he didn’t take that comment from him. Playing 82 games through hell and high water was the culture of the game before Jordan was thought about. For Kobe It didn’t start with a Jordan comment. Let’s not act like Kobe’s father wasn’t a NBA player too, bruh. Certain things had to be instilled him by his father also. He also played every game that he could regardless of his health, so it was more than a comment that he “took”, it was his lifestyle.

Eastside of that Motor
Lebron didn't really put in Kobe level work till he saw him working out for the Olympics.
Its been noted DWade, Lebron and Caron Butler all stepped their game up after seeing how Kobe worked.

They worked hard, really hard but then they saw psycho Bean in the off hours and that shyt changed them.
Lebron didn’t lift weights until he saw Kobe doing it at the olympics

No question Kobe had great work ethic.
At the same time, as a leader it is your responsibility to pull your teammates into giving the effort and focus necessary to win. That’s what MJ said about Steve Kerr and the other Bulls who weren’t there for the 1st three-peat in the documentary. Phil Handy at the end of that clip said Kobe rode his teammates hard and I hope that’s what he meant by it - to drag them a bit closer to his level. Because not passing to and not respecting teammates is a different thing altogether.

No argument at all, stop. You said, “ to me it just sounded like...”. How can it be anything else than what Kobe said? He told Phil why. Kobe didn’t bite his tongue or mince words, so how can you get anything else than what he said?

Kobe is the anti-load management player:mjcry:

Go hard in practice and the game.
They say Magic was just like this. That Magic was actually playing even better and harder in practice than the games. shyt is crazy the type of mindset you got to have to be legendary.

So how do you think Kobe led his team to 3 straight finals appearances? Being a bad leader who didn’t pass and encourage? You think he didn’t pull his team together? Of course he did. How could you even post this? Smh y’all dudes on one tonight. :pachaha:

I don’t really want to explain to you the dynamics of those Lakers teams again.

But if you want to act like 6/24 was leading a bunch of bums, have at it.
